Does Cynthia's surname also have a meaning? Or is it just random surname?

It's a random surname! Her name has a meaning (it's related to the moon like the main characters), but her surname doesn't.

Also, now that we talk about Cynthia, I guess it's time to share this concept art I did last year of her design! I only shared it on my Patreon. She will be a bit relevant again in the story soon, so I think it's important to share her design because only her sprite appeared in Chapter 1. She will receive her official art during the development of Chapter 4!

We are so happy to announce that Fritz’s route is (finally!!) done, and that the script for his story has been fully implemented into the game! We’ve thrown in some teaser screenshots— one of which is even animated. (We hope you’re as excited as we are for all of the animated blinking!)

Because of recent life updates, our responsibilities and deadlines have shifted yet again. The three remaining routes are all in different stages of development. Rod’s is closest to implementation, while Waltz’s and Rumpel’s are still in the drafting/editing stages. Rest assured that we will let you know when the routes have been completed. Hi!! It’s time for a new update! Hiatus is finally over and Chapter 3 is now 50% completed! 🎉 🎉 🎉 Thank you for your patience! Now that the hiatus is over, I’ll work extra hard to release the chapter as soon as possible! Also, to celebrate that the chapter is half completed, I want to make public some information about Selene Ambrose, the featured character you’ll meet in this chapter!

Selene is Luna’s childhood friend, they lived together in the same orphanage when they were younger, in a small town called Steamfort. They will reunite inside this mysterious building after so many years! Thanks to her, more things about Luna’s past will be revealed…! A very cheerful and funny girl who likes to joke around, but has a surprisingly mature side when things get serious. Unlike Diana and Apollo, she is very friendly from the beginning, and will join Luna and Neil in their adventure. However, Neil knows she is hiding something from Luna… What could it be? She also has some kind of relationship with Apollo, more about his past will also be revealed! Many things will start to make sense and the truth about the Midnight Express will finally be revealed!

Why does Diana cover her eye?

She tries to hide her face as much as possible!

I like your sense of naming characters. Girls have names of goddess of moon, and boys have names related Apollo Project. When Neil complement Luna's name, I found it romantic because he has the name whose the person who landed on the moon for the first time. And I also think their names represent their relationships. Neil admires Luna, and Apollo misses Selene, which resembles the human race's yearning to go to the moon.

Yeah, there’re many reasons I chose these names for the characters, I’m glad you noticed it! Apollo is also the greek god of the sun, it complements Selene being the greek goddess of the moon.

Apollo’s name also means “strenght” and “to destroy”, while Selene’s name means “brightness”. It fits with their personalities.

Also, the roman equivalent of Selene is Luna, which is a reference to their friendly relationship in the game!

Diana is also a goddess of the moon, but she is mainly known for being the goddess of the hunt. Considering what she tried to do in Chapter 1, it also fits her!
