#TodaysWord - "GRAY" (3/365)

{ this year I decided to choose one word per day and make a very quick reflection on that.

Today it was raining a lot. Everything was gray. I remember I used to love gray days when I lived in Rio mainly because normally it was always sunny and hot there. Gray days would cool me down, I was able to appreciate other things around the city, specially its colours. We sometimes have gray days in our lives and do you know what? It’s okay to have them. They are there to remind us that life is a cycle and for us to appreciate a beautiful sunny day, there has to be a gray day eventually or we wouldn’t know the difference. Make your colours shine on gray days!

#TodaysWord - "LAUGH" (2/365)

{ I decided to choose one word per day and make a very quick reflection on that.

Laugh. This is one of my favorite actions in my entire life. When you laugh, despite everything they say about what happens to your body, your soul smiles. Your soul understands the stimuli and sends a message to your brain: “we’re alright”. Laugh more. Laugh louder. Harder. Laugh about your bad experiences. Laugh about yourself. Laugh with an old friend. Today I met a dear friend of mine from Brazil and we basically laughed about everything we could. I’m as light as a feather now. Do it yourself!

#TodaysWord - "FIRST" (1/365)

I decided to choose one word per day, starting this very first day of 2017 and make a very quick reflection on that.

Everything in the world has its first moment. The first breath, the first kiss, the first “no”, the first argument, the first funeral, the first boyfriend/girlfriend. We are full of first times and first things. That’s the joy of living: discovering a world of new possibilities and doing things that had never been done before. For example: today was the first time I went to a club in Berlin and it was awesome. I used to hear from everybody about the night scene in Berlin but I'd never got to see it and there I was. Loved it. This year I decided to expand my list of firsts and I am already so excited for everything that’s to come.
