Starter: A Day In The Life
Taking a long drag of his cigarette, Emery looked up to the skies. He was leaned up against the outside wall of the saloon in the shade, where it was only mildly cooler. It was blue and cloudless for now, and not a breath of a breeze. He exhaled, his dark eyes still focused on the sky. The things he had witnessed in his year here were way out of the norm, yet something about the small town made him stay. Pulling his wary eyes from the sky, he took another drag off his cigarette before snubbing it out in the small standing ashtray beside him. It was slow, so he was really just killing time. Someone pulled up, so he smiled and gave a small wave. ❛ Hello there! It’s a hot one out, isn’t it? ❜
