Last week's movies

I saw 4 movies last week, here I will briefly describe what I think about them.  The Thin Red Line (1998)   I like movies about war and this was one of the many movies I had not yet seen. I'm always a bit frightened by movies that last longer than 2 hours (short concentration span?) and this movie confirmed my fear. Although there is an incredible amount of well-known actors in this movie the story didn't really caught me. After a hour or so still nothing really interesting had happened and I already was facing a hard time trying to stay put on my couch to watch the movie until the end. I still don't understand the beginning on the island and somehow the ending was a bit of a disappointment aswel. Sorry, 'Thin red line', I guess you bored me for 3 hours of my life and I won't recommend you to any of my friends who ask me if I know a good WWII movie. The Tunnel (2011)   First of all kudos to the 135k project that allowed me to be a legal pirate and download the movie straight from their own website. Great idea! I did not watch a horror in quite some time and this movie looked kind of awesome. I always liked 'movies' where people are in some kind of underground environment with evil creatures (The Descent for instance).  Just as much as I like movies in underground environments, I like movies with journalists where the cameraman is doing the actual filming for the movie aswel (REC), so even before I actually saw the movie it already had a 1+1 score for the 'cameraman -shooting-in-weird-underground-environments-with-evil-creatures'-situation.  Although I wasn't really fund of the acting abilities of the actors/actresses I still enjoyed this movie. [spoiler] I like the fact that in the end you still don't know what the creatures were a lot.[/spoiler]  As far as I can say: If you like movies as REC and The Descent this is a enjoyable movie.

Season of the Witch (2011)

I guess this was just one of those layed-back on the sofa kind of watchable movies. I liked the acting and the story although the story itself could have been a lot better. The special effects were a bit 2005-ish for me but still 'okay'.  I haven't really got a lot to say about this movie, but if you have no idea about what movie you should watch on your boring friday night this is a easy watchable movie that only lasts for about 1,5 hour. Tropa de Elite 2 - O inimigo Agora É Outro (2010) Although I haven't seen part one this movie was still awesome. A friend recommended this movie and on this lousy rainy sunday this movie was perfect.  The movie is about an Elite team and the corruption in Rio de Janeiro. The movie got my attention for the entire 2 hours and I really liked the actors playing in it. The end was a bit 'fast' for me but the final scene made the movie end with a 'feel-good'-sense.  Although I enjoy action a lot I tend to want more close-ups of actual action in a lot of movies. And then I do not mean the 'A-team'-ish scenes where 5k of bullets flying around and yet nobody gets injured. Some scenes in this movie were particularly rude and filmed from a good direction.  For everyone that enjoys a good action movie with good filming and fine actors, this is a definite yes!

Very quick (not really finished yet) Atari cover of moh his happy titan bunnies song.

Made this song as a try out of some instrument tweaks and try-outs (lead, arps, bass). Other instruments are by cerror.

It has some twists and isn't really the same because moh his mod has 4 channels and I only have 3. I recorded it with JAMplayer because it´s just a beta. Will probably finish it someday. Made on Atari 1040STf with Musicmon 2.5e

Almost all files on my diskette went corrupt during the making of this.. I'm happy I had a backup of atleast my own song. This is a preview of my first-to-be-released-Atari-1040STf song. It's a lose cover of some Contraspy module I believe is cerror's.
