I just watched the first episode of the second season of The Sandman, and this sole frame caught my attention

Yes, we see Desire in the first plane, clearly the painting behind them is Morpheus profile. But then, the sketch Desire drew with lipstick above the painting, it has some resemblance with Johanna Constantine… and guys… I’M UNWELL.

When I saw this frame I thought of one picture Mason Alexander Park posted in their IG time ago

WHAT WERE YOU TRYING TO TELL US DESIRE???? The parallelism, the positions… I hate the idea of being robbed of having my favorite ship in the series and Desire meddling between them, honestly I think this dynamic had lots of potential and even could have nurtured the show lore.

I wish I could’ve seen Johanna being a stand-in for Thessaly and see how it would have evolved her relationship with Morpheus.

Morphanna shipper (and also a huge U2 fan)

I recently watched The Sandman and I couldn’t help but feeling the huge chemistry between both Jenna and Tom (Johanna and Dream respectively) through the screen.

Lately, the thought of a cast has crossed my mind in case some studio wants to do a series about U2 origins, and I couldn’t help but to think of Tom and Jenna as Bono and his wife, Ali Hewson.

Despite of Tom being slightly taller than Bono, I think they would fit very well for each role since their chemistry in The Sandman series was outstanding and both are skilled actors.

I'm not against the ship of Hob x Dream by any means, but I am surprised people seem to ship it over Dream x Joanna from a content perspective (if that makes sense?)

Dream literally never tells Hob anything about himself. Pretty much the only thing he tells Hob about (as Hob points out) is that Dream had Lady Johanna do something for him.

Meanwhile Joanna (modern Joanna) not only knows who he is' but is utterly irreverent and unafraid from minute one (before she even knows who he is). And they talk about some pretty heavy topics. Love lost. Trauma.

Morpheus and Hob talk about Hob. Pretty much exclusively. So idk. The exchanges just feel kinda unequal to me.
