I recently watched The Sandman and I couldn’t help but feeling the huge chemistry between both Jenna and Tom (Johanna and Dream respectively) through the screen.

Lately, the thought of a cast has crossed my mind in case some studio wants to do a series about U2 origins, and I couldn’t help but to think of Tom and Jenna as Bono and his wife, Ali Hewson.

Despite of Tom being slightly taller than Bono, I think they would fit very well for each role since their chemistry in The Sandman series was outstanding and both are skilled actors.

This week, Bono and Ali Hewson celebrated their 29th wedding anniversary.

"I feel our relationship has changed a lot. For a while I thought I was in charge. I was the hunter-protector. A few years ago it became clear somebody else was in charge and I feel I hold on a lot tighter to her than she does to me, and that slightly bothers me.

Bono and Ali Appreciation Post

(So I MEANT to post this yesterday but SOMEBODY (yours truly) was a dumbass and somehow managed to delete half of it and had to do it all over again. So you know, that happened. Nothing is safe from the 2020 curse. So anyway you better enjoy it because I put a lot of work into this thing and then had to do put it together twice. ejfehfu still mad feiwhfeuf but enjoy...)

Hellloooo everybody, as you all know, today is August 21st, 2020, also known as Bono and Ali’s 38th (!!) anniversary. And so, to commemorate that, I figured it would be a great time for a gigantic Bono/Ali pic spam. 

Before I commence the pic spam though, I would like to offer some of my thoughts on this day. 

First, they’ve been married for 38 years. That’s thirty-eight years!! Holy crap dude. And high school sweethearts?? Are you serious?? That really happened in real life?? That’s so amazing, adorable, cute, wholesome, and just about every other adjective along those lines. As you will no doubt learn throughout this post, I am a huge hopeless romantic. I love romance and cute wholesome relationships so this is like, amazing. Sign me up. 

Also, to go along with this, Bono and Ali have accomplished what, in these days seems to be a difficult task for some. STAYING TOGETHER!! A lot of people in their space (I didn’t want to say Hollywood because that’s like, movies but you know what I mean) seem to have a trend getting together, breaking up, getting together, breaking up, rinse repeat must be Monday. Now I get it, stuff happens but I think this is even more of a reason to celebrate the fact that Bono and Ali have managed to stay together this long. It shows that the bond they have is very deep and they truly love each other and to me, the hopeless romantic, that is truly beautiful. 

The next thing I want to say is just... ALI IS SO BEAUTIFUL!! Like seriously, she is. I wish I could be as pretty as her. I love her hair. So let’s see here... you’ve got one very beautiful woman and one very sexy man and they’re married to each other and they’re the most adorable wholesome relationship I’ve ever seen. Are these people even real??? 

Anyway, without further ado, let us commence the pic-spamming. And this will be under a cut, don’t worry. I would not torture you by forcing you to scroll through this monster post on your dash. 

Let me just say, I know it was the 80s and all, but I love her hair in this pic. 

And of course, here is the moment. Ali, very beautiful here as usual. The flowers in her hair are very beautiful, I love that. On the contrary though, Bono, wtf were you doing with your hair?? I’m sure you ask yourself the same question.
