Sooo idk how popular it is but this hc isnt that uncommon(i think).

In my opinion wincest get together first, in like season 2 or 3(i lean more towards 3 cuz of the whole dean going to hell, last year to live stuff). So Sam and Dean are a sorta established couple before Cas is even in the picture. Obviously their whole situation starts WAYY before what we see in the show but i like to think they confess and sorta start to go through their (kinda distusting and non normal but totally normal for winchesters) feelings for each other in season 2 or 3. THENN when Cas comes along he doesnt know much about humans that heaven hasn't told him and what isnt traditional and shit. So his first and only true experience with humans is with those two fuckers(our beloved hunters obvi) and he knows to some extent that men shouldnt feel those things for each other and FAMILY should absolutely NOT feel those and do those things to each other. But since he starts questioning and second guessing all that heaven and other angels have taught him and he rebels, he believes the Winchesters and trusts what they have shown him to be what is right. Since the righteous man that he was missioned to protect wouldn't astray him, right? (he does since Sam is the most important thing to him(thing, not person. since Sam is Deans property))
