It’s important to make shitty art, even if you don’t put your all into it. Like this one I consider a terrible edit but like, I usually work with a pen and touch screen to help the seamless effect and I couldn’t do that today (whoops)— so I either had to create this regardless of lack of tools or let the idea die.

My dog caught a vole today so I am plastering her mugshot everywhere. The world needs to know about her crimes.

I took this with the means of making it b&w but felt I was doing the scene a disjustice, even if I like the other version better. I have never lived in a place that kept its green grass all year round. But here I am with a snowy-scape before me. I am breathing in the smells of petrichor, ice, and moss in February.

I recently traveled cross country to build a new life in Seattle. I am finding that after living all around the east coast from Florida to Rhode Island, the landscape was generally the same there, but here is a different story in comparison. 2025 has brought me newness, questions to find answers to, plants that raise an eyebrow, and greens I have never seen before. I am lucky to have the eye of an artist during a time of personal exploration in a new environment.

Glass haul! So excited I get to call all this mine! This is only the first step in creating space for making stained glass, something I have had to put off for a year. But I am happy I am on my way back into this beautiful medium.
