âOne would think youâd know by now not to threaten me.â
âTrust me, if I were threatening you, youâd know about it..â
darcy-hamilton:
âItâs a free world. I thought Iâd come and check the place out.â
âYou donât have to tell me the truth, but I am going to tell you this once. Just stay out of my way and iâll stay out of yours.â
âThe staring thing is quite creepy. Can I help you?â
âAnd iâm not going to stop staring until you tell me what youâre doing here.â

Clearly she needed to rethink her plan because baby-sitting was unexpected. She didnât know a thing about kids, aside from the fact that they were needy and needed  constant attention. She couldnât get anything done with a two year old running around and it didnât help that she had agreed on the ice cream. The sugar had kicked in big time. The eight month old was asleep only until the yelling and loud chatter of the imaginative two year old woke her up. Yeah, this is not what she had planned, so she pulled out her phone and dialed Sebâs number.Â
âWeâre gonna play hide and go seek. Go hide and iâll come find you.â she promised the two year old while she waited for Seb to answer. With the phone held between her shoulder and ear, Emily quickly fixed the baby a bottle and when she heard a voice on the other end, Emily quickly spoke up before Sebastian could back out. âI need your help. Itâs an emergency. Iâll text you the address. Hurry up.â With that being said, she hung up and quickly sent him a text with the address It was odd that he was the first one to come to mind, but she had no other choice.
Sophia made her way down the road, having started to go home and then changing her mind. When she saw a blonde figure for some reason she decided to go and say hi, âOh. Hello.â
Emily smiled at the blonde who approached her, and then stood up herself to greet her properly. âHi, can I help you with anything?â she asks politely. She didnât recognize the blonde, so she was assuming the girl was new. Then again, there were many new faces around the Hampton.
Rebecca, being the clumsy one she was, had tossed a grape into her mouth as she read and coughed. After a second she laughed. âThatâs the last time I try to eat and read at the same time.â She said sarcastically.Â
Emily looked up from her own book when she saw movement from ahead. when she saw what happened, Emily sat up, ready to help out if need be, but it seemed like the female was alright. Instead, she smiled in response--not that the girl was even talking to her. âWell, you should have seen what happened a couple of hours earlier at the ice cream parlor I was at.â she replied with a smile of her own. âYou okay though?â she asks after a moment.
âListen here and listen closely because there wonât be a next time. If you say anything about what happened last night at the gala I swear on my own life youâre gonna be miserable as long as Iâm still here.â
As if she hadnât heard that one before, and it suddenly felt like the past. This is where she would roll her eyes, or tell him to fuck off, but that wasnât her anymore. Instead, she took in a deep breath to calm herself and just nodded in response. If he hadnât showed up, things would have gone her way, but she didnât want Oliver in the crossfire so it was best to let this go. âHow many times do I have to apologize for you to let this go?â she asks in response.
Who would you sleep with?
âColin OâDonoghue or Brett Dalton. Can I have both? No shame.â
Crushing on anyone?
ââWell, I was going to wait until Monday to name my man crush, but I guess thereâs no harm in telling you today, right? Definitely crushing on Bill Skarsgard.â

BRB. Babyâs awake. Shower. dinner. iâll be on tonight to complete the replies!
He was glad to see that radiating smile adorning her glossed lips, sunbeams pierced through hazel pools and lit up his own with a similar joy. â Well, why wouldnât youâ Iâm delightful. â he jokingly runs a hand throughout that raven haired mess of curls before breaking into a more genuine expression, fingers are quick to lace itself within her own, pulling her arm forward to himself. â Pft, as if Iâd ever be too busy for you, â lips tug into a skeptical frown, a derisive sound scratching at the back of his throat. â Letâs go for a walk on the beach? â
She was glad to see that he wasnât busy, or he wasnât going to be any time soon. She wanted to spend some time with him, see what he had been up to, so when he laced his fingers with her own, Emily didnât pull back or step away. No, she allowed the small gesture and instead began walking close with him, her free hand on his bicep. God she realized how much he, himself had grown and changed. âA walk on the beach sounds great. I was going to go there any way if you had decided you were too busy for me tonight.â she added with a smile. âOh, and I think you got taller too.â she added playfully.
