A couple months ago I hurt a nerve in my arm and wrist and couldn’t feel my fingers, I really felt it was another kick in the teeth from 2026. They said it would take about 6 months to heal…. My job was also actively making it worse but the other choice was unpaid sick pay :(
I am still in the process of getting better. Some weeks it still flares up but I don’t need to wear my wrist brace anymore. Not being able to draw sent me so close to a deep depression and I felt like this was the rest of my life. While I’ve not been drawing much though, I managed to find a better job, someone who loves me, and I’m going back to college! It’s gone from the worst year of my life to one of the best.
