On 28th May, 2026, at 6pm, Bessie the Border Collie was put to sleep, aged 13 years old.
After a few weeks of struggling to walk, having difficulty breathing, and losing her appetite, it was the kindest option for her to be euthanised instead of living in struggle and pain.
She came into our lives on October 10th, 2012, aged 8 weeks, and since then, has been a wonderful companion on many walks and holidays to Cornwall and the Lake District over the years.
We're all going to miss her so so much, and she was just a lovely edition to the family.
Rest in peace, Bessie - you were a very good girl.
