Metamorphosis
In shadow’s hush, her silence sings,
A body woven into wings.
Light spills softly, tracing bone,
A fragile grace that stands alone.
The wall becomes her secret sky,
Where mortal form learns how to fly.
Each line of rib, a trembling thread,
Between the living and the dead.
No chrysalis, no whispered cue,
Just skin and shadow breaking through.
She blooms in grayscale, still, divine—
A fleeting ghost of butterfly spine.
And though her wings are made of light,
She owns the dark, she owns the night.
