I genuinely do not understand the bot messages I receive about selling my art as NFTs. Can anyone explain the phenomenon to me? It's so odd to me when my original and printed art is available.

Hello zinesters! The Golden Stapler Awards is this month, August 20th & 21st in Brisbane, Australia! If this is the first you’re hearing about it, me too! It is self-described as “Australia’s National Awards For Zine Excellence. Possibly even trashier than the Logies.” And even though I don’t know what the Logies are, I am in!
The Golden Stapler Awards has four categories: best collaborative zine, best zine by an individual, best zine series, and zinester of the year.
Lets see what those nominated have been making!
Best Collaborative Zine Woolf Pack Zine is releasing their 7th issue of the Brisbane-based bi-annual Femzine, but are nominated for their 4th issue, which is available online.
To Be Continued Magazine is self-described as “A fun, irreverent and intelligently written online magazine, always on the lookout for the newest thing in the world of fashion, music, travel and entertainment.“ Their December issue is a music focused issue and will be available here!
A Brief But Intense Infatuation is the third nominated zine which launched at Sticky Institute in Brisbane on Valentine’s Day over a year ago. Unfortunately, the zine is sold out on the Loveandois etsy.
And to finish up the nominees for best collaborative zine we have Concrete Queers, “a zine about fun queer stuff”! The zine is sold out over at the AlisonWritesThings etsy (which has some killer rainbow cement mixer pins! I didn’t know I needed these in my life, but I do, I really REALLY do.
Best Zine by an Individual Talia Enright’s zine I Hate Pink looks really cute and is actually available to buy! I would love to review this one if anyone has an extra copy laying around ¤wink wink¤…
Ashley Ronning grabbed a nomination for Deep Space House Plant, a compilation of her first solo exhibition. The zine is risographed! Ashley’s illustrations are so delicious!
Wasted Opportunities #9 is a punk fanzine available at distros in the US, the UK, and Australia.
Emily N3ver’s zine Asking For It is also nominated. I couldn’t figure out where to buy or view it (if it’s available still). Emily’s work is illustrative and decorative so if her zine embodies any of the qualities of her works, it’ll be a nice find!
Best Zine Series Woolf Pack Zine gets another nomination for zine series and I can easily see why! The illustration quality shown through every issue is refreshing yet dependable.
Wasted Opportunities also gets their second nomination for continued quality across their zine series.
Loveandois is at it again with Love and Other Indoor Sports. Check their Facebook for updates on this zine and others they make.
The fourth nominee is Make Your Mark, a collaborative zine birthed by Rachael House at the Arnolfini agency in Bristol. The zine “talks about how we survive, and pass on ideas of how to make things better, for ourselves, other people and the planet. In tiny ways - or thinking on a BIG scale. It’s important to remember that we have some agency in the world, and that our actions have consequences.“
Zinester of the Year Talia Enright Justin George Ashley Ronning Emily N3ver
There they are, the nominees for this year’s Golden Stapler Awards in Brisbane. Also, the awards are 3D printed staplers that are wearable!
