For this series of images, I took traditional gender roles that society assumes go with a certain sex and reversed them. I experimented with the different bright colors and greyscale backgrounds. I incorporated different colors to create a heavy and consistent role throughout this body of work. I created these images to help counter the traditional roles of gender norms and to ultimately help eliminate gender biasses.

I shot this picture of my sister, the youngest out of my siblings. To me she will always be the baby but it wasn't until I shot this image that I saw the transition of childhood to womanhood, which my sister is currently in the process of undergoing. In this moment I came to the realization that my sister is no longer in a state of infancy but is developing through the multiple stages of femininity.
