update in the crt:

the transformer *is* the problem but not for the reason i thought, although im sure it is dead since id wouldve killed me by now if it wasnt. probably have to buy a new one

on another note i found another girl laying in dirt around 3 days ago and managed it get her home today. i cleaned her up, opened her releasing a small lizard, a spider and a small slug that were inside her and then got her back together since she wasnt visibly broken and she works!! her name is now Caroline and ill better clean her exterior tomorrow. its a miracle she works fine considering she was dripping water

I forgot to give updates on the CRT sooner so huhhhh here they are

The problem seems to be the flyback transformer, since I isolated the area around it (unsoldered all connections) and it didnt short circuit anymore, I took it out and resoldered everything else and it also doesn’t short circuit anymore, so I’ll have to somehow check the flyback transformer
