新年快乐!Happy Chinese New Year!
Big illustration for Paris & Co‘s project Urban Lab, a think tank / laboratory for sustainable cities. Featuring people happily using modes of transportation that are not cars. Commissioned by Socialter (Merci beaucoup Marine!)
When I was making this all I could think about is how great it would be to live in a city, a world, that is not organized to accommodate cars. I got really into Paris Marx's book, Road to Nowhere, (highly recommend!) which talks about the need to reorganize our cities from being car-centric, polluted, and alienating, to ones that use multiple types of transportation and are cleaner, more vibrant, and more accessible for all kinds of people.

Drawing I made for my friend Oriol's birthday, inspired by a beautiful moment when we were walking to the Santuari de Queralt and we stopped to listen to the song of a red-breasted robin.
