Unexpectedly found at the Sailor Moon Fantasy forums (Italian). No idea where OP originally found these--maybe Fukano Youichi shared them somewhere?

Among other things: Sailor Moon got a different tiara and a skull-crusher of a scepter, Chibi Moon would've inherited the Cutie Moon Rod (and been red), and contrary to what was reported of one Animage article, beta Saturn was bright-ass yellow. Pluto would've changed planet colours, too--maybe this is why her early dolls wore purple?

Hilariously, Neptune barely changed at all, colour-wise. I'm pretty sure Uranus was supposed to be a different shade of orange from Venus; her Lip Rod's design became the basis for Neptune's.

Most curiously--to me, at least--the Outers all have golden chokers with gem decs, mirroring Sailor Moon's choker (well, in her Super Form--it's gold on her Cosmic form here, too), and Uranus and Neptune's Lip Rods both have crescents. Was there a connection?

I was a stupid teenager when this show came out, ignorant of horrible industry practices and I'm still convinced nothing really got fixed for the rest of the series after Season 2... but I got to give it credit for bringing me attention to things like that! Call me nostalgia blind but it's still my favorite one after an entire decade and 5 seasons.

We always talk shit about Mamorus bad fashion and usually think his manga fashion style is very decent (besides the cow print anyway lol)

But listen the boy literally cant dress right he doesnt even wear a tuxedo right, theres 3 types for specific occassions with specific etiquette and our boy is wearing all 3 styles at once what a mess.

Oh he's not technically breaking any rules, Tuxedo Mask's outfit isnt a traditional kind of tuxedo at all. Its a military Mess suit most likely based on the formal attire worn by the French Military! The uniform is crazy similar to Tuxedo Masks whole drip. Theyre also worn by royalty! Mamoru is a prince and a king!

Funny enough, King Endymion actually wears a traditional style tuxedo, with coat tails and everything. Endymion seems more associated with the coattails, so Mamoru on the Kanzenban covers probably isn't Mamoru at all but Prince Endymion!

I think he has coat tails in Crystal's design cus Sakou used Kanzenban as a reference- Cus he's never actually depicted with having coattails in the actual pages or artbook outside of King Endymion. Or maybe cus mess jackets and white tie tuxedos share a similar waist design, Sakou and gang thiught he was wearing a white tie tux and probably didn't know about Mess Jackets, at least not by name.

Oh no the second half of this post is me coming to the realiztion that manga Mamoru wasn't mix macthing tuxedo ettiquette at all, I realized hes just wearing a specifc type of tuxedo i had never heard of until recently.
