I was just wondering what made you decide on making a Emma Stone Style blog despite all the other artists you love? =)

I just really love Emma’s style? Every photo I saw of her I just really adored her effortless layering and ability to be put together but totally casual. 

I’m also partially jealous of the way she can pull together kind of menswear/tailored/English oxford options into her candid style and just look so feminine and put together.

Aww not at all, dear. I know I could be doing a better job with ESS, but I have been trying to rejuggle my priorities lately. Emma’s style absolutely still has my heart captured and I wish I had more time to put into it.

I am a stalwart supporter of TSS and I was wondering if you plan on coming back to ESS? With Taylor probably going on a hiatus, are you planning on identifying some of Emma's clothes? There are so many pieces that Emma has worn that I would die to find out where they're from! xxx

I know. I know. I KNOW. I’m really sorry. My ESS game is inconsistent at best. I know that I need to try harder to balance both, but TSS takes a deceptively large amount of time to run. And in gearing up for (hopefully) a month-long feature for TSS, my job, and trying to make hanging out with friends, loved ones, and hitting the gym more as large priorities, ESS might fall to the wayside. 

I do promise that my brain is with you guys and I will/should be doing my best to dedicate more time to this lil sideproject of mine. 

Thank you SO MUCH for your support, though. I know that it can’t be easy to be a fan of ESS when I’m like this, lol.

what is it you like about emma's style? :)

I love the way she layers things, how she always looks so put together but very casual and laidback. I’ve never been able to nail the layering thing but she does it so effortlessly.

If you have come to ESS on the basis of being a TSS-er you are going to think I’m just plain biased but OKAY REDHEADS IN GREEN IS JUST A VERY NATURAL THING TO LIKE, OKAY?

Hi dear! Well thank you so much first and foremost for being a fan of my blogs. That means everything to me.

Your request doesn’t come across as demanding at all and I feel terrible for essentially abandoning ESS. I’m just going through a spell of Only Child Syndrome right now where I feel like I can only focus all my efforts on TSS. Perhaps something will kick my ESS gear into overdrive, though. But thank you again for being a follower!

Please, keep up with this blog! TSS is so awesome, I check it daily and I would be so upset if you wouldn't want to continue Emma's style. You must be busy with everything, but don't give up on this. Please. I like your writing and I strongly feel like Emma's style deserves a blog too. You never know, maybe you'll one day meet her too :)

Awe! Darling you are so so sweet. Thank you so much for this encouraging message. I will see how I feel, but right now ESS is absolutely falling to the wayside and I feel terrible for that. It isn’t because I don’t want to continue it, it’s simply because I feel like my entire life is a case of Only Child Syndrome — I can only show all my dedication/obsession to one factor of my life. 

BUT every time I do see new candids of Emma I get that “OOOOOOO I WANNA POST” craving. I’ll be trying my best and thank you again so much for this absolutely sweet message.

Lol no that’s silly. I just haven’t been posting because ESS has kind of fallen to the wayside and I’ve been busy with other things. It’s possible I will just let ESS die.

Hey there! So, while Emma did say that, you’re also seriously quote splicing her because she also said: “I’ve learned on a macro level about the insane history of whitewashing in Hollywood and how prevalent the problem truly is. It’s ignited a conversation that’s very important.”

Which, yeah. So basically acknowledge the problem but offering nothing else whatsoever. 

Her comment about in defence of her casting was a parroted comment that director Cameron Crowe already offered as explanation months ago when the controversy first erupted. So that’s nothing new.

I’ve also pretty much said all I need to say on the subject and I’m answering this on the appropriate blog.

I will, eventually. This blog has admittedly kind of been on the backburner while I work on other projects. But I’ll get started on working on her other outfits soon!
