Emma Swan is the daughter of Snow White and Prince Charming. She was predicted as the savior before her birth, and she was transported to this world in a magical wardrobe to fulfill her destiny. She had her son at eighteen, and gave him up for adoption. He showed up at her door step ten years later, and she managed to break the curse because of him. She has reunited with her parents, and currently resides in Storybrooke.

"Uh yeah, alcohol will definitely be included. Is there a reason why you can’t participate?" the waitress replied, waiting for her friend’s response. Ruby stopped walking and leaned her back up against a brick wall when she raised her brow at a man walking by, staring at her, “Keep walking." she snapped, “This guy is creeping me out." she whispered to Emma as she started to walk again in the opposite direction towards the bar. “I’m heading to the bar now if you want to come meet up with me."

At Ruby's question, Emma paused, no one outside the family actually knew, now that she thought about it. "Yeah, but that might be something I should tell you in person" she admitted as she finished doing what she was doing and she grabbed her jacket and slid it on. She heard Ruby snapping at someone, rolling her eyes at her words, she was surprised that she wasn't used to it. After all Ruby was probably the biggest piece of eye candy for guys in this whole town, hence her getting stared at a lot. "Yeah I'll see you in five, I just need to call Neal and let him know that he and Henry will have to fend for themselves for the night" she was sure neither father nor son would mind.

"Hey, Emma." Ruby answered, smiling, “I just closed up the diner and was thinking about having a little fun before heading home. I could really use some time to unwind. And I was wondering if maybe you wanted to have some fun too. So how about it?"

Emma bit down on her lip as she listened to the waitress, "Would the fun include alcohol, because I can go with you, but I can't actually participate" she laughed, and then of course she didn't really want to be a spoil sport for Ruby. Especially since she wasn't in her position, but she was sure that if Ruby wanted some company she could go, Neal was more than capable of hanging out with Henry for an evening, hell maybe the pair could actually do something fun without having her there. "But if you want me to just be your wingperson, I'll totally join you"

An Outsider || Plot Event || Open to all

She had just put her phone on the table when it went off again, a worried look crossing her face as she realized it was the emergency line. She had the station's emergency line forwarded to her phone when she was out of the office, which meant that there was something wrong. With a small groan she picked up the phone "Sheriff Swan" she said into the phone, it was one of the townspeople. Apparently they had heard a loud crash near the town line, and they went to investigate and noticed a car. With a sigh, Emma said she'd be right there. "Neal, can you call Granny and get her to come stay with Henry, we have an accident at the town line" and with that she grabbed the keys to the cruiser, she left the keys to the bug on the table in case Neal wanted to join her or not. 

Once Emma got to the town line sure enough she saw someone, and they had apparently crashed into the town sign. Man that thing had seen its share of car accidents. Grabbing the walkie talkie, she called for an ambulance, and she got out of the car. She got out of the car, approaching the unconscious person, she hoped they were okay. But of course worry was seeping in, what happened to the fact that no one was supposed to be able to come into Storybrooke.

Something Fun || Ruby and Emma

Ruby had just finished cleaning up the diner and was in the middle of locking up. The waitress leaped down from the steps and started to walk down the street when she decided to call Emma. Ruby reached for her phone and pressed Emma’s name on the list, hoping for an answer. She didn’t want to go home. She could go running but she wanted to do something else. And she didn’t want to be alone.

Emma was just finishing up in the station, she had sent Neal ahead to go get Henry from Mary Margaret's and David was out patrolling, so when she heard her phone ring, she looked curiously at the screen. Seeing Ruby's name, a small frown set on her face, had something happened. Deciding it was best to just answer, Emma hit the button, "Hey Ruby, what's up?" she asked, hoping it was more of a social call, and not a, we need the Sheriff something's wrong type of call.

“Oh, that’s not fair.” Neal said in response to Emma’s pouting. 

As he positioned himself so that he was facing Emma again, Neal placed his hand on her cheek, gently rubbing with his thumb. “You really should play fair” He laughed quietly and placed a kiss on Emma’s lips, slowly moving his hands to the back of her neck.

"Hey says the owner of the puppy pout" she replied with an eye roll as he looked down at her, and when he kissed her she laughed, groaning slightly when she felt his hands moving towards the back of her neck, "Hey didn't we just do this" she told him lightly, "I thought you were tired"

The Appointment || Neal and Emma

Neal was slouching in the waiting room, biting his nails out of habit. He looked over at Emma for a quick moment, and could tell she was nervous. He sat back against the chair and reached his hand out for Emma’s, softly squeezing when he reached it. When he heard their names, Neal let out a sigh. All of a sudden he was lightheaded, he wasn’t this nervous a moment ago. Neal stood back and waited as they took Emma’s weight, blood, asked questions. He thought that was it until the nurse gave Emma a gown and said that there was another exam. His eyebrow furrowed a bit as he looked at Emma, confused. 

“Uh.. what part?” He didn’t know much about this stuff, actually he knew nothing about it. Neal had never been through this before, and he didn’t think about researching a bit more before they came.

"I'm going to get checked, if you don't want to be in here for that, it's okay" after all it wasn't like Neal had ever really gone through this. The last time Emma herself had been through it, well it had been in prison so she had a feeling the experience was going to be completely different. She changed out of her clothes and into the gown that she was handed. She bit down on her lip as she waited for the doctor, when she finally came in she smiled at both of them. Miss Swan, Mr. Cassidy, I'm the attending today and I will hopefully be handling all of your prenatal care from now on. Emma stared at her, "So I am pregnant?" she asked, Yes our tests came out positive. Emma blinked as she looked at Neal, that she almost missed when the doctor asked her to lay back so she could perform the pelvic exam. But she still did it, a part of her brain was still processing it, she was going to be a mom again. At least her occupied mind allowed her to not think about the exam because usually those things were uncomfortable as hell. Everything seems to be in order, we'll schedule you for your first ultrasound next week. Do you have any questions? Emma blinked, "No, Neal do you have questions?" she asked as she looked over at him.

The Appointment || Neal and Emma

Neal bit his lip and nodded as Emma spoke, sighing as he looked over at the woman in the drivers seat. “We can take turns.” He said, the only thing that showed his was kind of joking, was a small laugh he let out after he finished speaking. He turned to look out the window, almost as if he was unconsciously scanning for August. When he felt a hand on his, he looked down at his hand, and then back up at Emma. He listened as she spoke, and nodded. Neal wasn’t exactly the guy who let things go easily, unless it came to Emma, or Henry. But he was willing to give up on his stubbornness for this, he was going to temporarily let this go. What they were about to find out could be life changing, and that was stressful enough for the time being. He continued to stare at Emma, most of the time it was easy to be calm around her. Just one look at her and the rest of the world faded away. “You’re right..” He paused. “Alright, we’re about to be late. Let’s go find out for sure whether or not we’re having a baby..”

Emma looked at Neal who bit down on his lip, she knew she was mad. And if she ended up seeing August, the man was going to end up either bloodied up on the floor, or he was going to end up in a jail cell. She could only imagine what she could have done with the type of cash that Neal had sent from fencing the watches. Maybe she could have kept Henry. She could have kept her kid. She shook her head, it was too late to think about what could have been. A lot of things could have happened differently if they hadn’t made the choices they had, it was too late to lament them. She sighed as she finally turned the car on and made her way towards the hospital. They managed to make it in time, the one good thing about being Sheriff was that she could speed and no one would catch her.

She bit down on her lip nervously as they waited in the waiting room. Finally they called their names, and they were greeted by the nurse who made small talk as she did all of the things you normally did on doctor visits, she took her weight, and other things. She finally led them to the exam room, where she asked a bunch of questions, and Emma looked over at Neal nervously, she had already filled out a family history when she had a check- up right before her trip to Manhattan. Once she took blood and other things, she informed Emma that the doctor would be in for another exam, and she instructed Emma to put on the gown she was providing, and with that she left. “I forgot about this part” she muttered, recalling that she had to have a similar exam when she had been pregnant with Henry.

Neal let out a small chuckle and laid his head against Emma’s, her warmth was like electricity, something he couldn’t live without, and something he never again wanted to. At her question, Neal sighed. “Well..” He started, “You probably don’t have much time, but me? I could lay here all day.”

She snuggled into him even more, she had no real desire to move from where she was. She knew that Henry would get up, and she'd have to make sure he ate breakfast before he made it to school, and then she had to go to work, but it was easy to forget all of that when she was with Neal. She actually felt like a teenager again thanks to him. "Are you actually saying you would just lounge in bed all day while i went to work? You'd do that to me?" she pouted.

Neal laugh. at Emma’s teasing. “Perhaps that was the point of this little work out.”

"To tire me out? That is definitely not a nice thing Neal" she teased as she snuggled into him, "How long can we pull off being in bed before we have to go be active members of society?"
