i don’t care what anyone says… i love lin-manuel miranda. no man has ever made me cry as much as he has. he is such a lyrical genius and everything he works on turns out to be amazing. his songs always have the perfect amount of subtle foreshadowing, symbolism, and catchy-ness to be exactly what is needed in the film or play. maybe he’s not the best singer, but he is passionate about what he does and gets excited. i would wanna sing this stuff too!!! not even mentioning how a majority of what he works on is often putting the spotlight on poc actors and singers. i think his work has touched a lot of people and a lot of peoples lives, including mine. so yes, i will continue to ‘hate on him’ playfully, but unless someone has proof of him being a terrible person no one is allowed to actually dislike him in my presence!!! in conclusion, i love this man:
