I think there’s something protecting Grace. The Lord’s In Black want her alive. Think about it:

And then she’s one of the “final girls” in npmd.

Even in Workin’ Boys and nmt, she doesn’t die. I think the LiB see her as a tool. She’s the perfect pawn for them: she needs something to believe in, she latches onto things for an excuse to be a bad person. She’ll try to use anything to justify her actions.

Her need to be good is exactly what makes her so bad: she keeps pushing and pushing, in hopes of finding a “moral” reason for why she does what she does, but her morals are so easily twisted to what she needs them to be in the moment that she becomes a prime target for manipulation.

Because the only reason she’s really following the bible ks because she was conditioned to, and because she is guided by rules. Rules that the LiB could bend and snap at their will.

black friday is fascinating because yes it is a hilarious comedy musical with some of the funniest jokes ive ever heard but it's also an incredibly depressing piece of media that shows complex family and relationship dynamics. AND it's also an amazing commentary on capitalism with a song that makes me think about the state of humanity and my country every time i listen to it. oh and everyone's hot. final statement, how could you not love it?!
