This has been my first 2months being completely sober from alcohol.

I cant express how much better I am feeling everyday, I have never been this creative or had such a want to be so productive for a long time. I have started painting, drawing, and writing. My mood is so much better and I feel as though I didn’t even know who I was before these 2 months.

When I had tried to stop drinking alcohol I would try to only drink on weekends, but I knew I would never be able to do it, so I never let it happen. I was lying to myself, I honestly felt helpless to it. I would drink 2 bottles of red wine a night, and when I woke up I would walk down to the local Spar bottle shop and get 2 more.

My last stint ended me up in hospital, forcing me to stop it once and for all.

For my family, my friends, and also for my own well being.

I’m not trying to brag or anything stupid like that -

I just want you to know that if anyone is thinking of taking some time off alcohol, it has helped me immensely.
