Why did she come here, even after knowing that the truth will be ugly & hurtful? Because Eizen is a comrade. A man who out outrightly asked Velvet to help him, to support him. & in spite of her abrasive persona, she accepted. The least she can do is to greet him, & to ignore how strong the malevolence is. After all, she’s a part of that plague, too.

She truthfully did not see any reason to stop her from advancing further to reach to the top;; she was aware her brother had a lot of companions back before what he has become now && she was one of the many he had. Numerous had told her it was far too late to even save him but she preferred to turn a blind eye to those words && search for a way to cure him even after all this time that had gone by. She would at least be here for her brother no matter how long it would be.
