whatever Roodaka and Vakama have going on is definitely a little weird, but I gotta say I remember being a little kid reading Secrets of the Swamp for the first time and I got to that section where Bitil hits Onua with a sphere that makes him obedient, forces him to kneel, and tells him "I always wanted a pet" and even as a tiny sheltered seven-year-old I remember looking at that part like

Thinking about my concept for a stealth/horror game set on Karzahni (the location) where Karzahni (the being) is a terrifying presence that looms down with eyes like searchlights and like. There are three ways I imagine the game possibly working:

First-person, with somewhat limited combat.

Third-person, with extremely limited combat (think like how the modern Hitman games work, where combat is a thing to mostly be avoided and primarily involves QTEs, but instead of an unstoppable badass you're an extremly stoppable Matoran).

Side-view cinematic platformer.

Some possible mechanics…

You HAVE to keep moving, as standing still causes you to start petrifying.

Certain areas have effects that screw with gravity and other forces or distort space, like being trapped inside an M C Escher artwork

while being fully petrified is a ‘ game over, ‘ many other grisly fates are not, and instead causes you to wake up on the operating table with a newly modified body, which often has a different range of movement and different strengths and weaknesses from the last one.

Also some areas are only accessible when you have a specific kind of body modification (e.g one with climbing abilities, or an extended jump range). You lose your weapon when you get sent to the operating table and get given a random new one. You may only posses one type of weapon at a time, but NPCs may be willing to trade with you
