was just thinking about how utterly devastated Jude would be if Taryn ever died. there’s this rabbit hole abt “twin connection” that psychologists study (i think). sooo many ppl act like Jude didn’t forgive her sister, that she would want her dead. But the whole point is that humans make shit decisions amongst the fae. To belong or to attain power or whatever. Or even unbeknownst to them.

i see too many ppl wishing death or literal atrocities on Taryn like Jude’s entire character wouldn’t be completely shattered if Taryn died. Jude wouldn’t be Jude without her other half. Yeah she learned to adapt w out Taryn, but that doesn’t mean she doesn’t love her.

Sick of seeing violence towards Taryn- it’s weird… she was manipulated by the only two men that should’ve protected her. instead they used or abandoned her. gear your seething violence toward them maybe

anyway I’m not saying u have to love her but can we be normal toward the gal thanks.

i just think it's unfair to not only expect side characters to be aware of the main character's plot armor but to then also go on and criticize said side characters because they didn’t act with said plot armor in mind. if my coworker matt pisses in the baja blast dispenser at taco bell and i call him a dipshit for it i can't reasonably be expected to know that i'm throwaway character Bitch C. Oworker from book one of a 750k word pentalogy called The Legends of Matthias Stone, in which the piss-infused baja blast is used to mortally hinder the main villain as a form of Chekov's Gun at the end of book four

excuse me for stating the obvious but like. james gunn outright calling superman an immigrant and doubling down on it when he got backlash (because he IS an immigrant, that's the point of superman) + the in-movie dialogue of "aren't you going to read me my rights?" "you're an extraterrestrial, son. you haven't got any rights to read." + the violence of his arrest and how they torture and mistreat him unapologetically, all under the guise of "protecting america", in a film releasing during the onslaught of violent ICE kidnappings and abuse... yeah it's really no wonder right-wing knobheads are crying about this being woke. they're being forced to look directly at the reasons one of the most well-known and beloved heroes of all time would not be on their side. and that's only ONE of the reasons this movie covers
