q: you had a high profile supporter here this weekend. just wondering, how inspiring has that been for you?

lewis: it's amazing to have her come this weekend and have the support. but, you know, with my friends - incredible turnout just overall with people. and, yeah, i don't really know what else to say… it’s amazing to have good people around you and good people supporting you. and, you know, she does that for me every day.

q: lewis, you equalled your idol ayrton senna with eight podiums here. he still has six wins, so do you think you can get this record?

lewis: six wins. i’ve been here a long time and still haven't got to his level on that. but i'm going to be here for a while, so i’ll keep chasing it. and just to be in his presence in the sense of the eight podiums, for example, is very cool. i still remember being young and watching ayrton and still today he is still my favorite driver. so it's really cool.

Lewis stopped using that fuckass simulator and and asked for his brakes discs to change. And all of a sudden he's getting consistently good results. It's almost as if the old Ferrari way was what was holding that team back, and why they haven't gotten a WDC in 20 years. Now we know the team is willing to listen to Lewis and take the car in the direction he is asking for them. Because listening to experienced people benefits everyone. I have connected the dots, the 8th WDC is a lot closer than we think
