your art style and your shading skills and just everything is GORGEOUS! may I ask what supplies you use/ what your sketching/shading process is like?
First of all thank you so much for the compliment and thank you even more for the question! I will try my best to show a simple process since I never really shown any of my progress before! I'm still learning so much of coloring since it wasn't my strong suit until I get color pencils for my birthday last year and I wanted to make them useful!
I did this drawing as example for you today:
My sketching is really messy I mostly just draw the shapes good enough to make me understand what I'm doing and then start to do the actual character, for lineart I mostly use nanquim pens (tho the colorful ones I posted recently were made with normal colored pens!)
The paper I use is recycled paper because I really like how the colors seems more vibrant on it! The color pencils I use are the Faber-Castell SuperSoft colors, they are amazing on any paper!
I often color in white the areas where the color is supposed to be softer first before applying the actual color, the white pencil is so useful I highly recomenr you to check all the things that pencil is useful for! Small example 👇🏻
Most of my style when colored is that way, when it's just black and white or the colored drawings I posted days ago I'm mostly based on mangas artstyle I inspired myself from, heavy on Witch Hat Atelier!
I don't have much to say besides that, the art tools I use is mostly things I get gifted and want to make useful!
I hope you like it, my apologies for taking a while to respond!
