I was watching some videos of people making minis one time and had some styrofoam laying around in my house, so I decided to try my hand at making a mini. I made this little corner right here and put my enderman inside. Two brick walls and a stone floor. Pretty neat!

this httyd-themed shoe box diorama took me exactly one month and one day to make and i absolutely love it. pictures don't do it justice, but there's some sketches + details under the cut if you wanna see

in order of appearance:

the very first concept sketch

an alt pic of the full diorama without flash to show the colors a bit better (every other aspect is worse though)

the sentiment that helped me manage my perfectionism painted on the back (poetically enough ugly as shit)

my first concept for the background when i didn't know how to paint sunsets yet and still thought i was going to have the patience to glue clouds onto it

the background before i glued it in, after two days of tutorials & practice, based on the romantic flight scene in httyd 1
