My name is Ena Shinonome, I'm an artist! I'm 21, but please DNI if you're going to be weird, it annoys me.
I currently live in New York, and I'm working with a group of musical artists and a choreographer to create a project that I'm not allowed to reveal the name of yet, but I can talk about it, so that's probably what I'll be doing!
Hey. @can-i-explode-now again. This is a roleplay blog for my pjsk AU, welcome to new york. This blog is specifically for the part "everybody here wanted something more", but there is another, "everybody here was someone else before" following a different set of 5 characters. Yes, this AU is named after the Taylor Swift song.
Basically; Ena moves to New York to get away from the constant comparison to her father. There, she is commissioned to make an album cover and artwork for Shiho Hinomori, who left Leo/Need due to creative differences and is now living in New York and working as a solo musician, and An Shiraishi, a street artist who came to America wanting to fulfill a dream of her late aunt's. Also part of this group is Tsukasa Tenma, a slightly washed up actor who is less well known in America than he thought he was, and is now struggling to find any jobs, and Minori Hanasato, who wanted to be an idol, but could never pass the first round of auditions, so she became a dance teacher, and moved to America to find a job.
everybody here was someone else before follows Mizuki, Ichika, Rui, Kohane, and Haruka, but this isn't about them. Ena doesn't really know them. She knew Mizuki once, but they don't talk anymore, and she knew of the others but never knew them.
Ena talks to Akito, but rarely. She's in contact with Futaba, and maybe wishes she was in a bit more contact with her.... No, she's not in love with her, shut up Akito. (She is.)
the thing they dont tell you about learning to "trust the process" is that you forget and relearn it every single time you make a new piece of art. unfortunately there is no cure either
I’d say, try to treat everything like one big play. You’re playing the main character, but you aren’t actually her. She has a crush on this girl, not you. If you kinda disconnect yourself from the situation and make it completely impersonal, then that’s a good place to start. Try focusing on you breathing to keep yourself grounded, relax your body language, and try to keep any conversations surface level and try to direct away from certain topics.
And if the worst comes to pass, deny deny deny everything with a smile on your face.
I hope you’ll be okay, and you have my keys if you ever need to get away.
Just need to find a way to say I have a shitty one bedroom apartment but she can sleep on my couch without sounding like an unbelievable creep but I'm sure I'll be fine.
Me and my brother would slay so many songs so hard but the songs we both like are mostly songs outside of one or both of our ranges or something I really do not want to be singing with him. I'm not singing a fucking love song with my brother no matter how good it is or how well it fits our voices.
