so i am in the middle of a pretty terrible art block rn unfortunately. and i don’t rly have anything to show for it. i’m trying to get out of it but the motivation to draw is still just …. rly low

however! this has given me an opportunity to work on another one of my hobbies!!! a year or so ago i got rly into making friendship bracelets and as of recently i’ve gotten a lot better at it!! here’s some ones i’ve finished in the past month or two

anyway. i think they’re pretty cool and really fun to make. and i’m slowly getting better at making them!! it has been fun to see my progress lately!

sorry for the filler post!! thought i might as well show y’all what i’ve been doing haha i’ll try 2 keep working my way out of this art block tho! thanks for sticking around !!

The leather band of my watch broke, so J thought I could knot a new wristband. I would love it if the colours weren't off, but I can never tell how a yarn will look before I finished knotting something with it, unfortunately...

Now I need to find a wooden button or something.

In one of my favorite series (Touchstone series by Andrea K Höst) the main character decides to draw a rat with the label "Lab Rat One" on her shirt because she is fed up with the number of medical checks ups she has to go to. I've always wanted to make my own version of that shirt. I have two proposed patterns here, that probably need a couple of tweaks. I think i'm going to stitch the top pattern, but i still love the little arm on the second! I want to actually stitch this on a shirt with a pocket so that the rat really looks like it is in a real pocket, but if i can't find a shirt at target with a pocket on it i guess i'll have the go with the design on the left. I haven't used waste canvas in years, this is kinda terrifying.

Made some more demisexual flag bracelets! I'm trying out using my new business cards as the backing when shipping them, but the lobster clasp one had to go on cardstock because it's not bendy enough at the ends.

The pattern is called "Jesenice" and here is a link to it:

I challenged myself to knot all patterns from freundschaftsbaender.at. This is the first pattern of about 235 that I plan to knot and I already messed up.

I miscounted the colours - due to that I cut too many coloured strings but too little white strings. I managed to sneak in a white string and adjust the pattern a little bit so that it worked out and in the end I am happy with the result.

I got the string (except the white string) from my girlfriend for my birthday and it was really nice to use it knowing that she bought the string herself and sent it to me in a letter.

The pattern is called "Lima" and here is a link to it:
