@ heinrichs’ birthday

Despite her best efforts to feign disinterest in the German Prince, Sabine found herself agreeing rather easily that she’d come to his birthday party when Elodie extended the invitation. She’d even gone so far as to get Heinrichs a gift, though it paled in comparison to all the gifts he’s ever gotten her. Maybe that was what this was all about - the 5 million Euro diamond necklace. Or, maybe deep down she actually cared about him and this was the kind of thing you do when you care about someone. …No, it was definitely about the necklace… Maybe…

She was having a decent time chatting up some dignitaries when in came the birthday boy himself, shouting her name of course. And that stupid though somewhat endearing nickname he always called her. Sabine’s grip on her champagne flute began to tighten a little too much as she watched the exchange between Heinrichs and Elodie. Obviously because the two idiots shared the same delusion about her being Heinrichs’ wifey and definitely not because of their affectionate exchanges.

She simply gave Heinrichs a glare in response to his request. Like hell she was going to dance with him after he was just cozying up to some blonde French bimbo. But when he turned to ask Sofia, Sabine found herself blocking his way. “She can’t,” she interjected. “Sofia…” she paused, stalling as she felt people’s eyes on her. “…is busy with her date. Don’t be rude, Aleman.” Putting down her glass, she grabbed his hand and pulled him towards the dance floor. “If your hands go anywhere near my ass, I’m cutting them off,” she threatened in fluent German.
