Encounters Festival 2014 - Week 5

In the final week of the festival (yes we are sad too!), we have another list of great events hitting ‪#‎NorthLanarkshire‬. ‪#‎Motherwell‬ Library is very excited about the visit of graphic novelist ‪#‎MRCarey‬ tonight at 7pm. There is also a great Scottish author, ‪#‎DougJohnstone‬ appearing at ‪#‎Coatbridge‬Library tomorrow night at 7pm. Encounters 2014 - Week 4

Week 4 of ‪#‎Encounters2014‬ ends with ‪#‎Cumbernauld‬ Library, ‪#‎Airdrie‬Library, ‪#‎Motherwell‬ Library, ‪#‎Wishaw‬ Library and ‪#‎Bellshill‬ Cultural Centre all hosting Focus on Families days on Saturday. These include performances by storytelling duo Louna Productions (big hits at last year’s festival!) at Motherwell Library (11am) and Bellshill Cultural Centre (2pm). Also appearing will be the other library favourite ‪#‎Macastory‬ who will be delighting crowds at Airdrie Library (11am) and Cumbernauld Library (2pm). Wishaw Library don’t miss out on the fun and will have Magic Den appearing to entertain the crowds (11am). As well as these fantastic events, we also have another week filled with great author events such as‪#‎RobertLow‬ (‪#‎Kilsyth‬ Library, tonight at 7pm), ‪#‎KarenCampbell‬(Cumbernauld Library, tomorrow at 7pm) and ‪#‎GordonBrown‬, no not that Gordon Brown, the author Gordon Brown (Bellshill Cultural Centre, Thursday at 7pm).
