Do you think MCSM should have a season 3? If so what would you want it to be?

Like an official Season 3?

No.

I think MCSM ended perfectly, with us the player getting to decide what kind of ending Jesse has. It leads to many roads of opportunity for the player to get creative with how they think Jesse's story might continue on, from either staying in BeaconTown, or hitting the road with Petra.

That's something I really like about MCSM, is how everyone experiences the game differently. We all have different views of who Jesse is, and we all have different views on how their story ends. That makes it easy to find AU's or continuations of the story from all sorts of different angles. You're bound to find one that aligns with your view of Jesse.

But I don't really think about a Season 3... More or less domestic life that comes after Season 2.

My favorite thing to think about is Jesse's recovery after the events of Season 2, and how he would heal from the trauma he'd undergone. I've always liked stories that cover someone's healing process, rather than seeing them undergo conflict after conflict over and over again. I like feel-good stories, and if I were to "make" a Season 3, it would be something like that. But it wouldn't exactly fit into MCSM's theme. They're bound to go on some grand adventure again, aren't they?

But again, no I don't think there should be an official Season 3. With the rise of AI... I think now is the best time for everyone who has ever had their own ideas for MCSM to kick it into high gear and start producing that thing they've been sitting on for ages. There is always someone out there who is going to enjoy what you make, and we need to be creating now more than ever to combat AI. Whether it be through art, fic or music... Anything!

Just please make something from the heart.

got back into the game recently and had to draw them. their designs r still a wip as well as how I draw them, but this is what we have rn

I really enjoy characters like Susie. It's easy to tell she came from a bad upbringing, which feels authentic to her character. She's easy to relate to. It makes her friendship with Kris and Ralsei, and her blossoming romance with Noelle, feel all the more heartfelt.

That being said, I fear for her life.

do you think axel saying freakin beacon in ep1. is why jesse named it beacontown.

(also tumblr wouldnt let me ask this anonymously im going to cry forever /j)

Oh that's because I have anonymous asks turned off, sorry!

But I always imagined Jesse named it BeaconTown because of the beacon he and his friends activated, which basically established the foundation of the new town, as well as the New Order.

Imagine the gang taking in the beacon excitedly after defeating the Witherstorm. Petra standing behind Jesse, looks at him and asks "So...did you figure out a name for the new town?"

Jesse turns, puts his hands on his hips and puffs out his chest as he proudly states, "BeaconTown!"

Petra deadpans. "BeaconTown? Seriously?" She crosses her arms and asks sarcastically, "where'd you get that name?" Thinking Jesse is going to realize how uncreative it is.

"The beacon! What else?" he excitedly exclaims as he gestures towards the beacon.

Petra facepalms. Drags her hand down her face, but she corrects herself by matching Jesse's happy energy with a smile. "Good idea."

I had to write that down real quick as it played out in my head.
