I saw this post over in the flowery fan club and I couldn’t get this ending out of my mind; I don’t necessarily think this is what @chasm-craft is going to write for her fic, I just had to get it out of my head so it would stop haunting me.

Anyways you can absolutely tell which frames I took my time on and which ones I just needed to have to get to the next lmao. I never claimed to be a comic or story board artist, I’m going off vibes here. Also this is the first time I’ve drawn Asgore like ever so please be kind to me.

I Read “ The Power of Friendship, Dreams, and Determination” by @gearstorm (Gear_Storm on AO3; I’ll link the fic in comments to avoid tagging issues!) and immediately wanted to draw this one scene from it! I wasn’t able to pull it off exactly how I wanted to but I’ve been banging my head against this for so long if I don’t post it now I never will! There’s only one chapter of the fic as of posting this but it’s SO good I highly recommend checking it out!

Heavily inspired by @dinahdelightful’s fic “Room To Grow” over on AO3, specifically chapter 21 “ Everything is Fern!” I say inspired by because I totally forgot Flowery had not only his coat but a cane and a limp, but by the time I realized I was way too far into this to change it. I feel like I captured the unhinged and unwell energy he had going on if nothing else.

I’ve been following the fic since the beginning and it’s gotten so off the rails in the best way I love it! If you crave seeing Flowery cope very poorly to the end of chapter 5 in Castletown, definitely give it a look! (I would link it but tumblr gets weird putting posts in the tags if they have links. I had wanted to draw something for @lover-without-a-heart sooner, however the sad (but fitting) ending to the ask blog gave me the push I needed to actually do it.

I feel like I might have gone a bit overboard with the glitch effects, but I’ve been staring at this for so long my eyes hurt so it is what it is. (How you managed to draw with such saturated colors on a black background for the entire ask blog astounds me)

I’ve been staring at this for too long, and I’m tired of tweaking it.

I wanted to show Spamton having the same behaviors and mannerisms before and after his downfall (and put off finding a way to draw Tenna that I like) and I think I did that well enough.

Spamton unhinging his jaw to eat a sandwich is definitely my favorite of these. Tenna absolutely found him in his kitchen making a midnight snack.

I know the point of this post was to joke about how cringe it is to think about your old art but some of yall need to like, unpack your shame. These all started as me trying to figure out how to draw Spamton in each of his “eras” (to draw him with Tenna of course) but quickly got out of hand. So here are three for the price of one I guess!

I got Poison/Flying and Pure Shadow! Which I wouldn’t consider my dream but it’s pretty good. This is less myself as a pokemon and more a whole new one I felt inspired to create, so here’s the rough concept I drew up!

This little guy is found in highly polluted urban or industrial areas to absorb the air pollution in the area to maintain its own gaseous form! They are also commonly found around Trubbish and Garbador because of the toxic gas they produce.
