A shame I never got around to drawing something for

I had wanted to draw something for @lover-without-a-heart sooner, however the sad (but fitting) ending to the ask blog gave me the push I needed to actually do it.

I feel like I might have gone a bit overboard with the glitch effects, but I’ve been staring at this for so long my eyes hurt so it is what it is. (How you managed to draw with such saturated colors on a black background for the entire ask blog astounds me)

Things I noticed of Caine from @lover-without-a-heart blog:

The small dot in his eyes changes depending on which ai is speaking.

If the blue one is speaking, the dot is in his red eye, and if the red ai is speaking, it's in his blue eye.

When Caine got mad, both his eyes turned to red.

And when the other ai got mad, his eyes turned to blue.

As if they fought for control in these specific moments because of how angry they got from the asks they received from people.

Caine cause he thought someone made fun of him and his status.

Blue ai cause he thought the asker thinks they know them and what they went through.

When Caine got angry, the blue one calmed and comforted him, and his eyes returned to normal (after a while).

And i noticed the difference between their tears colour. (Red eye= yellow tears, Blue eye= cyan tears).

But in the last two posts, his red eye is a bit glitchy, and his text speech is blue

As if Caine code is slipping more and faster than the blue ai one.

What if they just fell apart after being restored during the Ending, like a LEGO set, and had to deal with their issues, @lover-without-a-heart, and kept all their memories

(Takes place Post-@lover-without-a-heart blog ending i recommend going through it first before starting this one)

(This is based on an idea I had for a fanfic)

*cough* *cough* THE "GOOD" ENDING:

His restoration just caused him to split because his code was too unstable. After being in the bin for too long, they got out at the last moment which is why they split apart

"I don't know??" Kinger said As Caine got up from the ground, Abel noticed him first, only to stare at... himself? No... that was oh-

This guy chomped me Well, not really as his intrusive thought implied, but this "copy" of him was Caine. He was responsible for his existence.

abel was clueless, and his AI felt too... bare like having a bandaid ripped from him in a cold shift moment

ragatha finally came up to ask them how they were doing

Before Caine turned to the person who seemed to be screaming loudly Caine had a feeling that the blue-eyed guy wasn't Okay. ...who WAS this guy anyways?

Of course @lover-without-a-heart did an amazing job creating all of that amazing art, and role playing for over a month, their ask blog was genuinely one of the most interactive fan projects I’ve seen, and im glad that I even got to find it
