How the second half of Conquest feels

I always feel like such a chud when I give my units stat boosters for some reason lol. I'm a big hoarder of them because I either go "wait what if someone else is 2 points off the threshold after a rally and a tonic and a meal and whatever" (this never happens), or I'm like "I think Leo wants this more than my other units" (there is no reason that Leo needs it more it's just that I have a bias)

#i went in and stat boosted all my rev units finally recently and it was like ughhhhh #can i just give one to each of my units so i don't have to make a decision #i have an arms scroll and i'm like what the fuck do i even do with this #i think the plan is to give it to kiragi for pursuer access (spendthrift + bowfaire + pursuer + quick draw is one hell of a drug)#but then also what if someone else needs it lol #slaycation screaming into the void

I've always imagined that Leo and Nyx get married in the woods. I can't see them wanting the publicity that comes with a giant royal wedding, so they instead do it in secret with basically nobody else there except for siblings and stuff

#also xander officiates the wedding that feels right to me #i doubt a lot of corrin's army was even there tbh i think it was probably just the nohr sibs and leo's retainers #and if it's in rev the hoshidan royals?#and corrin and azura obviously i count them in the “nohr sibs” territory here haha #for nohr sib weddings in general i've thought a lot about this #xander has a pretty grandiose one because it's required of him as the crown prince (ryoma is similar)#it's very ceremonial and symbolic haha #for camilla i can see her doing something a lot more low-key. she still invites everyone that's closest to her heart #but it's somewhere private like a locked garden or something #as i said for leo i think he's the most private of them all and only invites siblings and retainers #and then elise i think decorates the whole castle like a disney princess movie and lives out her dreams of a fairytale wedding #and obviously depending on who you ship them with this changes but for my specific ships i like these best #slaycation screaming into the void #nyxeo

#here's my thing if you got one for free i think it'd be a lot better #i feel the same way abt levin sword leo. if he had c rank natively and/or you got a free levin sword at some point it would be much better #but you don't get any of those things #and people overestimate funds in conquest as a whole but also i just don't see why you need to build up an axe rank for bolt axe #when tomes are right there and you can immediately make them suit whatever you need #“bolt axe leo is good if he's in malig” WHY WOULD YOU TRY TO BRING UP HIS E AXE RANK FOR THAT #i've fucking done it before it's not worth it #brynhildr has like 10 might that is PLENTY for him. elise has even more magic than leo she can live on a fire +3 #the only exception is for a hybrid unit like niles or camilla or specific ninas (like camilla!nina aaaaa i got a caminiles rep in here)#and i'm actually abt to try bolt axe niles to see if that repairs my opinion of it lol #because he natively has better skill and lucky 7 (and more movement)#but niles istg if you fuck this up for me this weapon is dead to me #i am exaggerating a little bit but every time i try to use this thing it's actually just painful why would i not just use tomes #i vastly prefer shining bow because the classes you want to use shining bow in come in classes with hit boosting skills #archer is a whole ass 40 hit via certain blow. if a bolt axe user had that natively it would be much better tbh #as i said i think the path for malig elise is to go strategist and THEN dark mage for heartseeker THEN seal into malig #and just have her be a straight tome user. you get more long term use out of her that way #i do NOT like that damn axe on her it doesn't do shit #even in the late game she's hardly every getting a solid hit rate on it #slaycation screaming into the void

I learned yesterday that 2nd Felicia actually starts with C rank in daggers, which means that you can just immediately give her a Flame Shuriken for combat. Didn't know you could do this. I am using her in my next Conquest run so I'm interested in how this would work

I do wanna just talk about the parallels between these two images. Takumi the first time you fight him vs. the last time. Imo they do a really good job of showing the progression of his curse and his descent in just fully being possessed. His bow glowing with the powers of the Dawn Dragon and then with the power of Anankos.
