#but hey he's getting the job done on this team lol he's already a hard carry #honestly my team is pretty solid all around tbh #the unit i'm most surprised about honestly is hinoka #with that guard naginata she has INSANE defenses and so she can lure in enemies really well and deal a good amount of damage back #also i figured out the tech. camilla and hinoka on pair up and they can swap. saves me a slot that would've gone to backpack #also i had an idea. camilla lost quite a bit of strength on reclass so while she's doing damage it's not AS good #so my idea is forge her a steel bow. she loses speed but since i friendship'd her with hinoka she got darting blow #which effectively nullifies all downsides to the steel bow #she would need to get to c and i would arms scroll her but... looks at suspiciously leo shaped figure #also hinoka provides her a little more strength too since she's in wyvern lord #also i gave jakob the steel axe that camilla had been using and that's making him a lot better... the iron axe +2 i had on him sucked ASS #i think jakob is maybe the most underwhelming unit so far tbh he's FINE he gets the job done but others do it better #i think next time i need to spend time with him in great knight before i take him into wyvern so that he can get elbow room #and THEN take him into archer for quick draw and THEN take him into malig knight #i think that was my problem i used the partner seal on him too fast when it should've been the last instead of the first #i also just got kiragi and he's great! planning on using him interchangeably with oboro just like camilla/hinoka #the first attack he did was a crit which was why i wanted to use him lol his crit quotes are too good #and mozu is the goat like always. that keaton pair up is genuinely amazing for her cuz she's a bit underleveled lol #when i put her in sniper at the end of the game... oh it is OVER she's gonna go so insane #write me down as a mozu fan i can put her ANYWHERE and she kills #slaycation screaming into the void #revcation

Okay last post abt the computer I promise, but this was my first like... full FE session using it and I've got a few things

I kept running into issues initially. Even tho I could get the game booted up, it would kick me out if I did one tiny thing too fast. I did fix this though by installling an older version of A/zahar, since that's what was recommended on an online forum (apparently ios26/macos Tahoe is weird about the newest version for some reason)

Actually gameplay? Gorgeous. When the guy at Best Buy recommended I get this one to replace my old one, I asked him about how e/mulators would run on it, and he said that they worked great. He was not wrong. It runs SO MUCH smoother on this computer than it ever did on my last one. I'm super pleased. I used to post things on here while the game was running and my whole computer would heat up and the game out just completely stop until I closed out the other tab. Now, this doesn't heat my computer at all, and it runs completely fine no matter how many tabs are open. So yay.

The one gripe I have is that when I go back to a save state, the whole map turns blue. But the easy solution is to just go view a unit's little battle portrait sample thingy majingy whatever. But, it does have this funny glitch where the characters' hair turns white

Leo kinda eats with this look tho I'm not even gonna lie. (He wants to be Niles so bad)

Oh yeah I did get my Adventurer Leo set up finally. He looks so pretty in the Adventurer outfit 🙂‍↕️ I hardly used him this map because I was level grinding Hinoka, Mozu, Oboro, and Kiragi tho. Because they all need their ridiculous damage skills (Trample, Bowfaire, Lancefaire, and Profiteer/Bowfaire respectively)

I did get the Pursuer on this map though. And I did wanna try that out on either Mozu or Kiragi. Who knows which one.

Anyways I think I made a pretty good team for the late game! I'm proud of it :)

I got a 2nd Shining Bow from the last map and then the Lottery gave me a third one, so I went into the shop and bought a 4th so I could forge them all for Leo. So I would like to introduce everyone to LeBow, AKA absolute god crusher

#lebow was supposed to be a bad pun on leo #but then i started saying it like ~le bow~ in a french accent so that's its name now #something something virion #this could've also all been free if i hadn't cheated the nina map tbf #revcation

I beat that one Rev chapter with the red and blue rooms last night. I expected it to be a lot worse but my team is kinda just really good and there were no problems lol. I'm trying to utilize Dual Strikes a little bit more just because I tend to not with a lot of units. But separating them both gave me a lot more combat options and I actually got kills with units that I wouldn't have gotten kills with otherwise. I did have to reset one time tho because I had nobody with Locktouch equipped so I had to get it onto my Camilla and my Soleil and then I got all the treasure! Nothing super important but the Arms Scroll and the Boots are really helpful in theory, and the Aurgelmir is useless but it's 5000 free gold so... lol.

In terms of stat boosters, I did end up giving Jakob the Speedwing, and I also gave Camilla the Energy Drop since she's been getting Strength screwed this run?. And they contributed a lot more to my team this time around! Jakob also works a lot better in a Dual Strike environment, I'm finding. Having him paired into Corrin isn't doing anything lol. Also I gave him Certain Blow, I don't remember if I mentioned that (I finished his kit w/ Quick Draw/Elbow Room/Certain Blow on top of Str +2 and Trample). Having a unit with actual hit rates and a large damage stack is nice. Once again, I wanna give Wyvern Jakob a second chance on my next Rev run but go Great Knight into Sniper into Malig instead so that he just... has everything immediately.

I also forgot that my Oboro was highkey really good as well, I've been having her and Kiragi fight next to each other and they compliment each other well (I was NOT expecting Kiragi to have actually abysmal Res, since I'm used to Outlaws who have really good Res. But this kid has 10 resistance, I kid you not. It's okay tho since he's not really here to fight mages anyway). Oh and Soleil continues to absolutely clear enemies out. Like always. Who said Sol Ninja was bad in Rev??? She's doing great lol (I overinvested). And Leo will always be my designated over-the-wall mage killer. Once again this unit is so overinvested but idec I'm not doing this for the meta I'm doing it for me

My Corrin is also outmogging my entire team in terms of stats and she's my least invested unit LMFAO
