I didn’t plan to draw this today, I just kinda…. did it on a whim. But I like it. I’ve been having a slow sleepy day today, so I felt like drawing Punchy from Animal Crossing, having a lazy Sunday in his house.

Ever since I had the idea of turning my old cat Peanut into an Animal Crossing villager, I’ve wanted to draw him and Kabuki together. They’re both grumpy old men, they’d probably hang out a lot, complain about the weather and stuff.

They also like to get coffee at Brewster’s, but it’s Old Man Time, so nobody else is allowed. Sorry, Caroline. XD

(victorian inspired clothing because that’s my town’s theme.)

What do you know, my digital faux watercolor look is more legit than when I actually watercolor. Hahaha. Maybe it’s because my other watercolor ACNL villagers were done with watered-down acrylics instead.

This was REALLY fun to do digitally, so I think I’m going to continue the set!

I’ve really been wanting to draw three animals from my childhood as Animal Crossing villagers! Here they are!

First up is Peanut, the cat I got in 2001 and who passed away at 14 years old in 2015. <3

Second is Babyface, the plastic horse on springs I’d always have fun riding on as a tiny kid! He’s really sunbleached by now but his cheeks still seemed as pink as ever.

Last it’s Zodiac, the teddy bear with frosted blue fur that I bought when I was very young, and I still have him on my bed to this day! The fur around his eyes wasn’t trimmed so you couldn’t really see his eyes.

Okay, by the time I got to the shadows I had some powerful eye strain so I half-assed the shadows. But I’m going to just call this ‘done’. I’m ready to be done with it. Pretty happy with it.

I know I don’t post much here anymore (I’ve gotta give y’all updates soon) .... here’s what I’m working on right now! Katt, having a jam session in her rockin’ pad.

I recently made another Animal Crossing: Gamecube file, and my villagers were Olivia, T-bone, Pate, Vesta, and a couple others. When I did errands for the villagers, I realized that Olivia happened to have all of the loaned items. Everyone was wanting me to get their shit back from Olivia.

She’s such a hoarder!

This was my first attempt at watercoloring with a semi-good quality set!
