He panics

Engie's face goes red "I- Uhm.."

He waves his arms around a little

"So you see, I.."

Pausing

"I can't explain"

He mumbles

"Wait you don't?"

He stares at him dumbfounded with his mouth open in surprise

Engie walks up to him slowly and wraps him in a warm hug

He was cold. His very being to core, was cold. He hugs back.

"We need to get you a blanket or somethin' You're freezing."

He mumbles but doesn't let go of Dark

"That tends to happen when you arent exactly alive." He rubs his back gently.

He hums

"Yeah.."

"You seem familiar with that concept" he said intrigued.

"Oh I guess I have died a couple of times."

His body tenses slightly when he remembers a specific way

"But I'm still alive

I think so anyway.."

He runs little circles along Darks back absentmindedly

"You dont have to think about it, if youd prefer not to. I know, it can, weigh heavy in the mind. We can discuss something else?, if youd prefer?"

He offers

He laughs nervously

"I'm sure I can fix it, but I might as well ask right?"

"My. Youve certinly gotten in over your head." He appears behind him pacing around. "Youve found yourself in an arcane space, it seems."

He jumps up in surprise at Darks sudden appearance.

"How did you-? Ok. that was actually pretty cool. Anyway, how do I get out? This isn't really my area of expertise."

"Mm, better question, how did you get in?" He paced around him calm and put together.

"I'm assuming the Warp Core Since its caused most of the problems up to this point."

"Then youve crossed rhe blurred boundaries between science and arcane." He observed. "...youve always been good at that..."

"Why does this always happen.."

He sighs

"You have a... unique, talent, for getting in interesting situations" he said calmly.

"Im gonna take that as a compliment."

"Its natural you would." He hummed. "Always too curious for your own well being." He mused.

"How did you know where to find me?"

He crosses his arms

"Why wouldnt something of my nature be able to detect you?" He mused.

"Oh.. Right."

"Youve been here a while, havent you?"

"To be completely honest I don't know how long I've been here. But probably a while, yeah."

"Time does tend to be hard to track here." He hummed. Laying a hand on his shoulder. It glitched.

The contact is nice, considering he's been alone for awhile

The glitch was interesting though

"It feels like maybe a couple of days? But who knows."
