http://snp.gd/tbcyxo Genre 7: How-To Manual Kelcie and Evonne We were trying to show the scene when Brontë and Tennyson were trying to revive Brewster. We thought that we would do a SnapGuide about CPR because we wanted to show the steps on how to do it and what might've helped Brontë and Tennyson learn about it during their life saving class. This revealed that Brontë and Tennyson wanted to feel their own emotions for themselves and wanted the pain. They stopped their addiction to being happy and became tougher mentally. It revealed that even with all the pain Brewster experienced, he still had the strength to press on and continue taking other peoples' pain. It shows that no one and nothing can stop him even if he doesn't want to do something.

Genre 6: Commercial Evonne and Kelcie This commercial relates to the part in the story where Ozzy was bullying Tennyson and how they fought. The purpose of this commercial is to teach others that bullying is not right and many people get hurt or commit suicide from it whether its cyber bullying or just physical bullying. We were trying to reveal Tennyson's and Ozzy's character about how they were fighting physically. Tennyson didn't want to fight so he wasn't really the bully in this commercial but he ended up going way to far and beating him up. This demonstrates "out-of-the-box-thinking" because we did a commercial to teach people why bullying is bad and most people would have done a movie trailer.

Genre 5: Brochure Evonne and Kelcie We chose to do a brochure about a stroke because in the reading, uncle Hoyt had a stroke and he was really drunk as well. We were trying to reveal that with all of uncle Hoyt's stress and smoking, it caused him to have a stroke. If he were more relaxed, then he wouldn't have died. Also if he hadn't been so drunk, he would have realized all the pain he has caused for Brewster and Cody. It also reveals that uncle Hoyt wasn't a really good person because he caused so much pain for Cody and Brewster which made Brewster stand up for himself and not care for uncle Hoyt anymore. This demonstrates the "out-of-the-box" thinking because we were trying to teach others about what a stroke is. We were also giving a message about what could cause a stroke and also how to prevent it from happening.

Genre 4: Handmade sculpture/ 3D art piece Evonne and Kelcie We chose to make a sculpture of Brewster because we feel that this sculpture reveals a lot about his character. This sculpture describes the pain he goes through everyday whether its caring about Bronte, Tennyson, Cody, and uncle Hoyt or emotional pain he gets from not being able to stand up for himself or caring about others. This genre reveals that Brewster truly likes having friends instead of being alone all the time. He treasures having Tennyson as a friend and likes the feeling that he has someone who watches his back. His talent impacts Bronte and Tennyson because they have done so much to help him through his problems. They also were the only people that took the time to get to know him better. He feels that he should repay them by caring about them and taking away their pain too because he feels that they are people he trusted.

Genre 3: Poem/ Haiku Evonne and Kelcie We chose to do a poem/Haiku because we felt that the way Brewster described his point of view was in poetry. We also felt that doing a Poem/ Haiku was a good way to show how that Brewster felt as he listed 10 things he wishes to happen if he were to tell the world that he has this special talent. In the first picture, we described how Brewster felt about his special talent. In the second picture, we described what Brewster wishes to happen if he told the world about his talent. The third picture, we described how negative Brewster felt about his talent and how it was giving him so much pain. We feel that this will teach others about how a special talent like Brewster's, can have positive and negative sides to it.

Genre 2: recipe By: Evonne and Kelcie We chose to do a recipe because we thought this would best relate to the chapters we read for this week. We also chose it because we knew that tri-tip roast was mentioned in the story and that gave us the idea that we can do a recipe on this particular meal. We felt that this was a good meal to make a recipe on because we learned that tri-tip is a part of the bull. According to the previous chapter reading, we remembered that Cody had a bull named Tri-tip and we found out that's why Tennyson wasn't in the mood of eating meat because he had to help Brewster dump Cody's bull away since it died. This was also the only meal they actually described in this weeks chapter reading besides the picnic. We felt that making a recipe about Tri-tip roast would actually teach people more about bulls.

Genre 1: Invitation By: Kelcie and Evonne

We chose to do an invitation because we felt that there wouldn't be any other opportunity to do this genre in the book in the future. We also felt that since this scene was in the beginning of the book, it kind of introduced the story and what was going on. An invitation to Wackworld in the book would be the best suited for this section because the setting was used in the book where the main characters actually went there. It would be more realistic than making up a fake setting that wasn't mentioned in the book for a future section. This setting actually makes sense for an invitation because its like a fun place where many are invited. It's like an introduction to the story so an invitation would be best to present the beginning of the story.
