WHY MUST TACK BE SO EXPENSIVE???! I decided that my big purchase for the year 2015 was going to be me purchasing my own saddle. I only have until october until the local tack store has its huge anniversary sale. I'm going to save like 500 dollars max for the saddle but on top of the saddle I have other things I need for the saddle. Like stirrup leathers, stirrup irons, girth, and a saddle rack. I'm going to be so poor at the end of this year!

I totally didn't forget to post anything after lessons last weekend nope. Actually I just was too pissed off to even think about lessons last weekend. I have been riding this one gelding for like close to two years at this point. And I don't really have another horse that I like riding but anyways my instructor has these two girls ride with us sometimes and they are terrible. The older sister always wants to ride the horse I always ride when she does she has him strung out like a donkey and my instructor was like oh she rides him often enough she can ride someone else. WHICH IS WHAT SHE SAYS EVERY TIME THOSE GIRLS COME TO RIDE. I'm really annoyed because for the past month I've only gotten to ride him twice. If things don't change soon I'm going to have to switch to doing three lease rides and one lesson because this is bull shit. I don't even learn anything from my instructor so she shouldn't boot me off of a horse that I ride better than most adults do.

I'm so happy today I had a freaking amazing ride on my favorite boy MAGIC! He was so good and I rode him very well without using a whip. We even did a pattern without using a whip I was so proud of him. I almost got him to do a leg yield at the canter but sadly no cigar I was only like a couple of inches from the wall when he broke from the canter though so that was good.

FRUSTRATED!!!!

URG! So because I had to attend my brother's wedding during Thanksgiving weekend I had to skip lessons. So I thought hey if I ride earlier in the week I won't have back pain from not riding. LIES. My back has been killing me since the time that my lesson would have ended.  The only good thing about this trip was I got to go to the Dover Saddlery store in Houston.
