Hand embroidered wasp on entomology pin. I am starting a new series based around mortality. I am interested in the divide between humans and all other species and how we place so little importance on the mortality of practically everything other than our own species. I aim to create a body of work focusing on the every day bodies I come across and whether or not I can make them precious. The wasp died in my greenhouse and was pinned by me.
