I ❤️ this cloth, the art, the gold thread, the palettes... Really, I can see myself as a capoerista wearing the silk pants, especially, for it's cooling properties and the designs are meaningful for a fighter, a practitioner of martial arts and for someone on The Path. I would have loved to learn about silkworm silk yarning and weaving.
Cutting real metal thread for goldwork. I have more than what I'll use for repair projects in the next two years, so I'm downsizing some. I know it'll be harder to get now but it's harder to get for EVERYONE. So. Idk share the wealth.
"My side" is parted out already, with two small spools for me to work through without opening the large bundle. I can keep "working supplies" in the dresser and everything else in a storage bin.

Poetic Rambles - Write What You Know
They say “write what you know”, but how could I not write about the way the brown of your eyes melts when cast in the gold afternoon sunlight.
Or perhaps they are instead the icy blue of a winter’s day, cosied up by the fireplace in defiance of the cold.
Or how your smile breaks the mask you wear, lighting up your entire face.
I may not know you yet, but that will not stop me from writing down each wonderful thing about you.
And though I do not know you yet, the thread of gold attached to my chest will lead me to you.

Day 7: two clews of gold and silver plated thread
Two beautiful skeins of gold and silver thread measuring in at 500m and about a pound heavy when put together.
Silver and gold are always an advisable part of any hoard, but silver and gold thread have the added unique bonus that they can be used to spruce up other pieces of the hoard or crafted into something wholly unique. Never mind the increased comfort they provide instead of simple straightforward precious metals. Both items were purchased from zelkovajapan.
I had to do this embroidery to celebrate Lizzo's new single!
