/I donât know why, but I canât post on the original post anymore. So yeah./
Roland arrived at the hangar 5 minutes late, as per usual. He saw Sho-Katlan sitting on a pile of cargo, holding his belongings. âAw, youâre punctual. thatâs precious." he said, walking to the hull of the ship and openingâŠ
"Wow. This is⊠Interesting, Iâve never seen a ship so intricate. At least, not that Iâve dealt with." He stood in awe at the ship resting before him and slowly walked forward. âWhat should I do with this?"
"Either leave it here in the hold, or put it in your bunk with you. Whateverâs easier for you." He said as he dropped the last case of food onto the grated floor of the cargo hold. He wiped a bead of sweat from his brow and took off his coat, throwing it on top of a pile of cargo.
Sho looked at Roland as he took off his jacket. He had a very nice body. Come to think of it, he has a great face and great hair. He walked into the ship and assumed a bunk, putting his stuff down on it.
Roland leaned in the doorway behind Sho, and said, âHey, Iâm gonna get  her up in the air and on course, and once we are in hyper drive we can talk some more about this gem of yours. Farther away from the thousands of open ears in the cantina."
"Sounds good." He turned away and startled shuffling his stuff around, trying to look busy. Then he remembered that he needed to ask Roland something. âHey, is this bunk alright?"
Roland turned midstep and nodded, adding âOh absolutely. There are no other passengers on this flight, and I generally just do most of my sleeping in the cockpit. Once youâre settled in, feel free to peruse the ship. Iâll be on the bridge till I get us to lightspeed if you get lonely." He continued off down the hall.Â
Sho might just have to get a little lonely. He continued to set up his things, mostly putting them away. When he was finished, he wandered the ship, finding the engine room, the barracks, the hold, and finally the cockpit. He stepped through the door, knocking itâs door frame. âI got lonely."
Roland grinned over his shoulder. âBrilliant! Hey, you may wanna hold on to something." He said as he punched in the remainder of the coordinates and activated the hyperdrive, launching the battered little smuggling vessel into the void of hyperspace.Â
Sho pressed his back up against the wall next to the door, just before Roland launched into hyperspace. He had been through hyperspace before, just not in a ship this size.
Roland stood up, stretching. âShe rattles a bit when you get her up there, but sheâll hold." he ran a hand through his messy hair. âso. Tell me more about this gem. Why do you need it so bad that youâd rub elbows with a scummy smuggler like me?"
I canât really explain all that yet, youâll find out more as the job progresses. Letâs just say, I needed it done well and fast." He began to lean casually on the wall he had been forced against to hold on.
"well you're in luck. 'well' and 'fast' are two of my specialties. Drinking, flying, and shooting are my others, so we should be pretty set." he leaned against the back of the captains chair.
