Wentworth Dump #4

Finally, I’ve finished all of these during one of the worse heatwaves ever.🫠

So this all began when I noticed a lot of hate for Doreen, Rita, and Ruby on Reddit. I don’t appreciate that because they are amazing characters! Doreen’s story made me cry when she told Bea about what happened to her baby and how she ended up in prison. Doreen has the most beautiful smile. Ruby and Rita’s relationship was beautiful and made me envious. I have an older sister and she treats me like shit.😐

Drago’s character was really cool, I wish she didn’t die so soon.😩

Kosta was a badass too, dumb but funny. I just know Judy was a badass little kid, the type to cause trouble and then blame it on you.😐

I forgot to put Zaina on my other posts.😭

Finally, Eve Wilder, ugh 😩, I love her. She’s so conniving and evil. Those eyes of hers. I loved her dynamic with Joan. I wish they would have stayed friends longer. Also, Vera being a little jelly over Joan’s relationship with Eve, having snacks together, hanging out in the yard together, sleepovers.🤭🤭

(My GOW followers, I have a few things in mind, but I’m doing my run with my current fixation, but I’ll do a few arts here and there. I’m kind of hooked on the my Modern AU with Kratos and Freya)

(Still have some Laufey art I’d like to do, but the new Gods designs and my detail oriented skills are sending me; still need to learn.🥹)

Learning how to use Krita since I hate Clip Studio Paint with the passion. You guys don't know how much I HATE IT!! (Props to those who like it and use it, no hate to you. Godspeed)

I bought a Huion pen display a few weeks ago, but I didn't really like it, I should have given it more of a chance, honestly, since I tested it in Clip Studio (my sworn enemy). I returned it. Which I'm lowkey beginning to regret...

I have a Huion Inspiroy pen tablet however, which I've used in the past. Pen tablets and Pen displays are definitely a learning curve, but I much prefer the displays as you can draw directly onto the screen. My iPad touch screen has also spoiled me and Procreate as well. I'll admit.

Speaking of iPad, I bought a iPad Pro 13 inch M5 and that thing overheated, like HOT when I used procreate. Sketching and I returned it because my old iPad, a 2018 6th gen, doesn't even get warm and I've made ALL my God of War content in it! Yet the M5 combusted just from opening Procreate. I exchanged it for an older model, an iPad Air 11 inch M3 with 1 TB of storage. (It was cheaper and on sale) Hopefully, I don't have the same heating issue because wtf? If I do, I'll just return it again and get my money back and just stick to my old little guy who's still on IOS 17. Can't update anymore. Ha ha. Can't use Procreate dreams (extreme lag), but that's okay because I like Toonsquid. (the brushes lowkey suck, but f*ck it we ball)

I'd like to expand my horizons however as you can see with this unfortunate tale of trial and error. With returning to my PC.

Tested Krita with Joan Ferguson. I see a lot of these Chinese artists do these collages with bright vibrant colors, so I'd like to do something similar with this picture.

...I just realized I spelled kitchen wrong...

I know it’s not Halloween yet, but as I said before, I just wanted to finish some last few sketches. I actually did this one on the new iPad. It was great. Love it.

I always thought Pamela Rabe would make a great vampire if she ever starred in a film about them. I wonder if there’s any Australian vampire films. Hard to imagine vampires in Australia. 🤔

I tried drawing Vera as a vampire but…it didn’t come out good. Something I’m still learning is rendering and lighting. My two biggest issues I’d like to tackle.

I’ll try drawing Vera as a vampire later. Around Halloween time. 🎃

I swear I’m going to finish up Doreen, Ruby, Rita, Zaina, Drago, and Kosta. Also start working on some comics…and other secret things.👀👀

It’s been so hot lately tho. Geez, I’m dying.🫠

Also…I’m so used to small canvas sizes that the new iPad canvas size is weird to me. 😅

I’m used to A4 sizes for comics and such, but it certainly is an adjustment from my little iPad.

Rivalry

I always found the rivalry between Fletcher and Joan hilarious because I felt like it had more to do with Vera than anything.😂

When Joan first arrived, she had suspicions that Vera and Fletcher were a pair until Vera tells her it’s in the past. Then Fletcher was mad because he wanted the Governor position and Joan began giving him “sh*t” jobs as retaliation for what he did to Vera.

It was just funny to see them constantly butting heads and glaring at eachother. She hated his guts.

I know I said the next post would be Doreen, Ruby, Rita, Zaina, Drago, and Kosta but I just bought a new iPad(8th gen) so I wanted to finish my last few sketches on my old one (6th gen) before transitioning to the new one.😊

This took awhile to do because my iPad is very old and can’t handle A4 canvas sizes which I’m doing the comics on now. So I can print them for myself.😏

This is part of my modern AU where Kratos and Freya are married but she co-parents Baldur with Odin, but he’s not really around so Kratos is more of dad to Baldur instead. Atreus and Baldur are stepbrothers.

Wentworth Prison dump #3

I wanted to draw other characters but got a bit sidetracked with Joan x Vera. There’s still other characters I’d like to draw from the show. I’ll be going away again for a short time because I’m going to learn how to make Video Games.

Godot and Blender with the time off I have from school. Also, 2D animation. There’s still some Wentworth stuff I want to animate. I actually wanted to try making 3D chibi models of Vera and Joan.

My childhood dream was to be the best game designer in the world lol. (I was actually gonna to art school and everything, but didn’t; long story) no time like the present!

I’ll still try to upload here and there because I still have a few things left to finish up with Wentworth Prison, a few comics left and a set of fanfic reimaginings I’ve drawn.

Sunlight.

I’ve been practicing rendering recently which is honestly just digital painting. This was a shot I always liked of Vera in Wentworth. She looked really pretty when visiting Fletcher in rehab.

Even after everything Fletcher did, she still was a good person and cared to visit him in rehab.😢

But lowkey Vera could be evil at times…especially in the last season.🫠

En Garde!

This was supposed to be part of a fencing series I drew of Joan, but it was too good to post in a group of pics. I always wondered if Joan’s mentorship ever went beyond the prison, like how much did she mold Vera and how much did Vera want to be like her?

Also, I read a fanfic about Joan and Vera fencing. (They get a little physical, which I will include in the fencing series. Nothing too graphic.)

Someone pointed out to me the other day that my fanart for the show makes it seem like a completely different show and not the drama/suspense/heartbreaking show it actually is. 😅 And I suddenly realized that as well the other day, like damn people are gonna watch it expecting something funny/romantic only to bawl their eyes out instead. 😂😂

Although, this picture in particular is referencing Joan vs Vera in Season 4/5. So, who will win this duel?

As for my god of war followers, I am currently working on the final pollen series. But it was hot af here in LA with a heatwave, it finally cooled down. So I will get back to working on it.😊

Also! I’ve been learning color and light lately, so this picture was an experiment of light. So in the future my drawings may change a bit as I learn! 😄

I always wondered what Vera would have looked like in teal. I meant to draw her in the uniform which I will continue in later illustrations. I just got this funny idea one day if she went to jail, Ferguson would have a field day with her and getting assigned to the same cell block too! Very silly.

What happened after she shut the door is open to your guys interpretation, but she did say they should have a “chat”. 😊

Also, Linda, oh my gosh, I just know she would be an absolute menace. She makes me laugh. Will would be more apologetic and try to help Vera the most.

This comic was only 4 pages but I decided to include the last one of her asking Bea for help lol. Hypothetical help. Also, shed some light on Joan’s interactions with Kaz’s group. Which I want to do more of.

My next photo dump will be multiple characters I haven’t drawn yet. With a splash of Vera and Joan. I am working my way up to Bridget/Frankie and Bea/Allie. In my own comedic interpretation.

I have finally completed this color comic which honestly had been finished for sometime, I just hadn't colored the final page. My fault.

This was a lot of fun to draw, quite a bit of work too since it was a larger canvas size than I normally draw on.

I was asked about the final pollen comic and I will get around to completing that story. It may be a bit more graphic than the previous ones. Trying to think of a funny plot that requires them to both be naked. lol.

I seen this animation meme going on at TikTok, so I decided to give it a try with Wentworth. I’ve mentioned on TikTok that I’m actually very new to animation.

I’m enrolled in a class this year so I’m learning a lot!

For my GOW followers, I have a fight scene between Kratos and Freya I’m trying to do because I wanted to see them get down hard like bloody nose/knuckles and just straight beating the shit out of each other but being excited by it. So I’m working on the mechanics of that.

This was a joke someone told me a long time ago and so I thought it’d be funny to see happen between Joan and Vera. Also, technically I drew them kissing since so many of you had asked me to do it and I shall practice more kissing poses cause they are tricky to do as an artist.
