Okay, idk if anyone is even going to see this post bc I barely have any followers anyway (lol), but I just really wanted to share my theory about Avi’s possible girlfriend. As we all know he’s been publicly single since Jessica, aka 2013, so the reason I’m so excited about this possible relationship is because it makes me really really happy to see him happy :) Before I say anything else I just want to make it clear to anyone reading this that ya’ll should not bombard either Avi or Aleen with questions or pictures or anything on twitter, insta, etc., since if they wanted to talk about their relationship they obviously would have already. Also, this post might be kind of extremely long, but please bear with me.
So I first thought something might be up back in August of 2015, when I saw a tumblr post with a screenshot of a snapchat that had Avi sitting in the back of a room next to a girl who was showing him something on her phone. The post was all about how all the members of pentatonix were in relationships except for mitch, with a ton of pics attached including that screenshot. Anyway when I first saw it I was like yeah okay but there’s not really any other pics of them, and we don’t even know who she is, she’s probably just a friend… and then I went on with my life.
Flash forward to April of this year, when Esther posted a pic on her snapchat story with Avi, mystery girl, and a guy who I recognized as Brad, Avi’s old friend from college who also helped create this masterpiece. Immediately (being the Avi stan I am) I was like who is this mystery girl, I need to know right now. So after literally an hour of searching both Avi & Esther’s profiles for any sign of mystery girl, I gave up searching and went on with my life.
Flash forward again to June, when I was going through a shit ton of old tour snapchats, and when I got to Las Vegas day I was looking at all these snaps of the ptx members getting down at the club. Sure enough I came across a snap of Avi looking at his phone in what looked like a party bus, NOT EVEN REALIZING MYSTERY GIRL WAS SITTING / DANCING NEXT TO HIM.
Meanwhile, at some point during all of this, I was looking through Avi’s tagged pics on insta. Then somehow- I honestly don’t remember how- I found Marisa Leigh Esposito’s instagram. Taking a short glance at her insta I started to get a feeling she might be Avi’s girlfriend, since she posted so many pics with him, and they all had a ton of hearts in the caption(s). After clicking on all those pics of her and Avi and reading the comments, I finally found one picture where a few commenters were talking about whether or not she was his girlfriend, or if it was another girl whose account was @/leen_dotcom. So not knowing who to believe I requested to follow @/leen_dotcom, NOT EVEN REALIZING THAT SHE WAS MYSTERY GIRL.
K, another flash forward now to august… so this month / present time. On my dash a couple of tumblr accs (I forget which ones) were talking about this snap of Avi looking angry. Since I hadn’t seen the video and I need to see every single Avi video like I need water I desperately searched tumblr until I found it. Now the first couple of time I watched it I was like, awe look at my cute pouty baby. And then I saw her sitting next to him.
AND EVERYTHING. CAME. TOGETHER.
This was mystery girl. The same girl from the original tumblr post. The same girl from Esther’s snapchat. The same girl dancing next to Avi on the party bus. The same girl I requested to follow a couple of months ago.
If my life was a movie this would be that ‘Aha’ moment where the main character looks really stunned and then we see a montage of all the previous scenes in the movie that led them to this point. That’s what it freaking felt like.
So anyway the pictures above are mostly pictures mentioned in my little story of discovering Avleen (is that a shitty ship name? idk I think it’s decent), including screenshots of her social media, but again please do not even @ her.
Hopefully this whole post wasn’t too boring, and now ya’ll can share my little secret about Avi’s love life. Now, to be clear, neither Avi or Aleen have confirmed this relationship, so honestly I could be completely wrong and this whole post could just be a load of crap. But if they are actually together, I think we can all agree they’re a pretty damn cute couple :)
