âIt is an odd game,â Castiel agreed. He didnât understand why humans would put themselves in danger like that, fun or not. There were much safer ways of having fun, like board games and Netflix, and lots more that heâd never tried, he was sure. But why not give it a try? A fall from that height would do no damage to him, and he supposed it would be a good idea for him to stick around in case the woman did get hurt, anyway. That way heâd be around to heal her. It would greatly minimise the danger. âAlright. Iâll give it a try.â He frowned slightly, letting her lead the way. âYou have a lot of hair. It seems awfully impractical.â
âItâs just as odd as everything else around here. Iâve never seen a place so brightly lit or loud.â Stopping at the ladder leading up to the platform, Rapunzel dropped most of her hair, keeping a couple of yards for what she was about to do. âAnd then I saw this thing and it reminded me of my home. I never thought of jumping out the tower window though.â Giving the manâs comment about her hair a smile, Rapunzel sent the ends of her hair flying up, up, up with a practiced throw. It cleared the top rung of the ladder and slipped down the other side, returning to her. âSometimes it is; like in the jungle back on that planet. Some of those plants stowed away in my hair! Didnât even realize it until the ship was leaving. Most of the time, however,â she paused to twist the ends of her hair around one hand and grabbing the hair nearest her head with the other before adding, âitâs easier to get places quickly.â Pulling herself up, she reached the top of the ladder hardly ten seconds after leaving the ground. Peeking over the edge, she called down to the man, âLook out below!â Sending the ends of her hair back over the edge, she watched it land next to him. âGrab a hold, Iâll pull you up.â
