I hadn’t even SEEN it drop before today, so I feel #blessed rn. I actually like this mount better than the Fire Hawk, so I’m glad I got this one first. <3
I finished the shaman campaign. I really liked it! I think the story is a lot better than the druid campaign. TBH I don’t even remember what the point of the druid campaign was. I think we were summoning the deer god AGAIN? I don’t remember. But with shamans we not only help influence the choosing of two new Elemental Lords (one with finding a broken Thunderfury off a dead NPC), but we got the elements to UNITE. To help us fight the Legion!
(Which is kinda funny when you think about it because Sargeras became a fallen Titan and made the Burning Legion to fight the Void Lords, who sned Old Gods to corrupt planets, and the Elementals Lords were forced to fight for the Old Gods against the Titans and Titan Keepers.)
ANYWAYS. Now I just gotta work on reps for JC reasons and Suramar. And gettin my ilvl up so I can do LFR. \o/ I’m ready for my shaman class mount baby. Also here’s a picture of Adventurer Pepe and I after I killed Rag in the Firelands for the mount. No luck, btw.
Man I haven’t posted here in FOREVER. And lots of things have changed. Including the name of this blog and my battle tag.
((tl;dr - switched mains; quit playin WoW; back to playin WoW w/ old main; i’m back to usin this blog; pet giveaway soon so watch for that)
When the artifact weapons were announced, and I saw that boomkins were getting the Scythe of Elune, I made the hard choice to change mains from Enrinkari the shaman to Shebata the druid. (Also, at the time, I wasn’t a fan of the Ele Shaman changes, but was a huge fan of the boomkin ones.) So I spent most of the time between Legion’s pre-order and the release of Legion gearin up Shebata. When I played that is. I kinda slacked off WoW until a couple of months before Legion. It just wasn’t fun anymore, and Overwatch had just came out, and I still played Smite a lot, so WoW went on the back burner until Legion.
Legion. My god. The first few months of Legion were amazing. The amount of lore we were getting gave me a ragin nerd-on. Plus the zones were (are) beautiful, and when we got cinematics they knocked them out of the park. I think I actually cried when Ysera died, and as a Worgen I felt great pride in my king. Hell, I didn’t even mind dyin in Suramar a lot... Most of the time.
But then it started gettin unfun again, and most of this is because I’m still playing alone. I have no friends outside the game that even want to try WoW, and no friends inside the game. So I stopped really tryin to keep up with quests and things, mostly logging on to do some mount runs if I felt like it.
A few weeks ago, something else caused me to stop playin WoW. Right as Love is in the Air event started, my computer started to die. We thought it was the memory, then the hard drive, but it turns out the motherboard was going. So we had to buy a new computer. And of course I got WoW installed on it the day after the Event ends. (I’ll get you one day you dumb Love Rocket.)
Something about this new computer doesn’t mesh well with Overwatch and the graphics are grainy. It’s either my 5+ year old monitor not workin well with the newer graphics card, or it’s the card itself. Either way, since I can’t really play Overwatch now, I’ve been playin more WoW, and just recently got my shaman up to 110 and am currently workin thru some of the Suramar quests with her. And I gotta say, it’s made WoW fun again. I still am getting used to the shaman changes, but they aren’t class ending like I thought they would be.
This is gettin stupid long, so let me wrap this up by saying that I am going to try to start posting more on this blog again. I know no one really cares, but I have thoughts about stuff in WoW, and no one else to talk to about it, so I can at least post here. To celebrate my “return,” I plan on havin a giveaway in the next week or two to win any in-game pet from the blizzard store. I’ll make a separate post about that tho.
If you made it this far, thank you for reading this, and if you’re Alliance maybe one day we could play together! Happy WoWing!
Today, I got Night Elf!Eridan, or Elfidan, his garrison and started questin in Shadowmoon. Let me tell you this is a WHOLE new experience. My shaman, hunter, and rogue were all geared from SoO (My shaman from Heroic/Mythic, and my rogue and hunter from normal/heroic), so questin was really easy. Not with this guy. I’ve died more times in Shadowmoon than I did at all levelin my shaman to 100. (Not countin dyin by Horde from bein on a PvP server at the time.) Mage is actually kinda hard???? But I’m havin fun.
Is it bad I panic logged when a guildie, who had no idea where Dalaran was, said they were the only ones allowed to roll on the mounts from DS??? Idk I just had to hope out of there.
Finally got off my ass and got the last 200 or so rep I needed to get this. I love the Arakkoa. Now I need a new purple mog for my shaman. Luckily I got my top xmog person on it.
Can we P L E A S E get a “appear offline” mode for battle.net friends list please? I just wanna play on WoW and not have to deal with certain people at the moment.
(they are friends but i don’t wanna have a convo with them right now because i’m not up to it.)
