George R. R. Martin discusses Winds of Winter release date and Game of thrones Season 5 and more.

As the world knows, the show will surpass the books by a great margin. As April approaches Season five comes to haunt readers and it consists of tons of elements that can be considered as spoilers, even for book readers. Loyal readers who have been waiting for the next book 'Winds of Winter,' feel betrayed deep down, but Martin's latest statement might put a smile on a 'reader's' face. 

Yes, you read it right. We understand the level of your excitement right now and so we hate to break it, but if you have fell for the title (and as a follower of The Red comet page, you have fell for it twice before on The Red Comet) this one's the third strike. I am proud to announce, that you have been punk'd for the third time. 

I promised, "I'll strike when you are resting in your tents, celebrating your little victories, drunk with you ale. I'll strike when even gods are distracted." If you actually fell for this, too bad, you fell for it. I am sorry, I know you are hurt, but hey, what else do you expect from a comet?  Lord Comet sends his regards.
