SumMERCADO joins Entrepreneurship Day 2020 at STEC, Lapu-Lapu City

Last February 14, 2020, commemorated as St. Valentine’s Day, the Entrepreneurship Day of the subject Entrepreneurship also commenced as everyone were excited for the day’s activities. It was a day dedicated to entrepreneurship wherein students of various groups are given the chance to sell their products as part of the requirements in the aforementioned subject alongside with the different booths initiated by the ABM Pounds as part of the activities of the day’s commemoration. 

 One of the groups who showcased their products that day belongs to SumMERCADO, a company which offers snacks and beverages to busy students, teachers, and even parents. 

All were delighted as the event opened at mid morning through a simple ribbon-cutting. Kids from the elementary rushed to different food stalls and happily bought yummy treats. One can notice that the food stall of SumMERCADO are crowded by kids excited to have their corndogs and students to fill their thirst with the infamous iced coffee. At the end of the day, all were satisfied and got home happily as the event closed, making the SumMERCADO the highest grossing food stall among the rest who joined the event.

Behold! The Royalty has come! 

Introducing the Queendome who has offered everyone a palatable variety of food snacks that are budget-friendly. 

Their best-selling product is called Queeza, a substitute for the luxurious pizza that can be bought only at an affordable price. Queeza only cost Php 10.00. The Queeza has different flavors including:

Hawaiian

Cookies, and Cream

Ham Delight

They also offer delicious and healthy Sweet Corn which only costs Php 10.00. This Sweet Corn has included sweet condiments such as the condensed milk and powdered cheese. 

Of course, selling food products would be too mainstream. So, they offer non-food products that will surely catch the students’ attention. Do not worry, they are selling it at an affordable price! Their non-food products include:

Bubbles

Hair Clips

Keychains 

Without the help of the group’s members, Queendome wouldn’t be able to be at their state of bliss! To recognize them, they are the beautiful queens of HUMSS-Law!

NOBODY BUT CHEW Stall

During Entrep day, one of the stalls that were put up was the group named “Nobody But Chew”, a playful pun on the original Kpop song sung by the Wonder Girls “Nobody”. 

The stall used signature pastel colors like yellow and blue paired with white for an even tone. Their concept was rather playful; seeming to have been going for a more cute approach in terms of their design. 

With simple crepe paper flowers and strips of white crepe paper paired with a popping sign hanging on the pole of their umbrella, Nobody But Chew was able to create a simple and yet eye-catching design for their stall.

On the Menu for their stall during that day, the members of Nobody But Chew had prepared the following:

Fried Chicken Skin on a stick 

Chicha Chicharon Noodles 

Mango-Float Iced Candy 

Shawarmade for Chew

A humble stall that had done their best to give what they believed the customers wanted, despite the hard ships that they had gone through in order to create a brand new menu with added products to suit the tastes of the people. 

On the contradicting hot and yet rainy day, the Nobody But Chew crew were able to go on creating their products and cheerfully calling out for the customers to come hither into their stall’s abode.
